Targe. Charge-critting medics is too fun. Really. I can't have that much fun, it's killing me.
It's a tossup between the Cloak and Dagger and the Backburner.
The equalizer is hella fun too, but I never play as Soldier anyway.

I love the Huntsman so much. I just stood in awe for a moment after I shot a rocket-jumping soldier in the head and he got pinned high up on a wall. :mmmhmm:
I like gunboats too, because they taught me to love rocket jumping.
I just got the targe and that thing is a blast. With or without the eyelander, it doesn't matter.
Just using it to get around quicker, or using it like Bonk to get past sentry guns, or rushing past the enemy lines and attacking them from behind. Super fun.
It looks very funny, when you see Demo charging with a bottle of scrumpy.

That's the main thing I used it for, getting around. Except that one match I changed my name to 'Japan' and would scream "BONZAI!" over the mic every time I charged. I think I got like 4 kills that entire match, but it was hilariously good fun.

Heh, lately, I've had this tendency to use the "Thanks!" voice command everytime I kill someone. And sometimes, he says "Eey, me bottle 'a scrumpy!", but I interrupt with the voice command so he says "Eey. Eey, thanks"
Sometimes it's not even on purpose.

I equipped my Heavy with a Sandvich, Scout with Bonk!, and my Demoman with his Bottle. You never know when you're in the middle of combat and think "I could go for a delicious snack. Perhaps I shall take out my painstakingly generated refreshment and enjoy a fair luncheon in this fine establishment.

Go play Hydro in Sudden Death and you will be relieved to survive that crocket.
My personal favourite is the Cloak 'n Dagger, I just find it easier to play Spy if I know I can safely hide away without the cloak failing. Sure, its not so good for sprints, but it gets the job done.
Also, I havent tried out the Soldier and Demo unlocks yet, so I can't give a full opinion.
