Achievement Unlocker. Hooray! - Games

Isn't this "Manipulating of the persistent item system" or something? Valve said that if you used ANY external program to gain unlocks, all your items would be removed.

Get them the real way, Jeez, I spent since 2:00 just trying to get the eyelander. I ended up getting all the soldier weapons :/

I don't think this is bannable as it doesn't affect the gameplay, and it's not against the Steam rules. But the idler wasn't against Steam rules and we still got punished for that.

I always unlock the new weapons. I can't bother farming up +100 achievements to get new weapons.

Seriously, why do people bother unlocking achivements? whats so fun about that? Yes, you will get the weapons faster, but you will feel more proud that you worked your ass for it.

Just used it. I'm not grinding for hours on end to unlock my new weapons.

My VAC status is just fine, so keep that "whatever i dont care cheaters are gonna get banned hehe" bullshit to yourself. I play TF2 4-6hours a week, give or take, it's just a raw estimate. I play this game for fun, pure entertainment, and I want to make the best out of it with different weapons and such so the unlocker is a good choice for me.

I don't get why people have to use the unlocker, it's not like you need a lot of achievments to get the different weapons. 5 - 11 - 17. And you can get 6-7 of them in less than 10 minutes, considering quite a few of them are assist or taunt related. Shouldn't take long to get all the achievments you need for the weapons, I'd say about 2 hours if you try for it, so I wouldn't consider a "lack of time" or "I have a social life, Hurr" as valid arguments. If you haven't got enough time to unlock those weapons, I'd say you don't need them because you obviously don't play that class much. I could understand if people would use it during the medic update where you needed all to get the Übersaw, but it's pretty easy nowadays.
