The scam trades megathread.

First, I traded 2 scraps and a bonk for the GRU. (Guy was asking for reclaimed)

Then I traded the earbuds for the le'stranger, bushwaka, powerjack, and the MAGISTRATE'S MULLET.

Then I traded my bushwaka for jarate, black box, and pain train.

First one I think I got a little ripped off (I do like the GRU, though)
Second one was a rip off for him, but he was Russian and (probably) new to the game, and the third was a little ripoff for the other person, but he did it so that he can complete his sniper polycount weapons collection.

Also, some dude was trying to scam me earlier yesterday. He got a backburner and changed it's name to "Community Backburner". He wanted 3 hats for the thing. 5 minutes later the local 4 year old made the trade.

I've gone from 3 hats to 8 hats since the update, most hats gained without trading my own.

Got a crate, traded it for a nametag, traded that for a Vintage Drill Sergeant's Hat.

Traded a powerjack for 2 crates and an alien swarm hat.
Traded a Bonk for a Solider's Stash, which I then traded for a stainless pot, which I then traded for a Vintage Vintage Merryweather. (lol, that's right, basically a Bonk for a Vintage Merryweather lol)

Traded another crate and a scrap metal for a Vintage Officer's Ushanka.

I've found that no matter how bad the deal, there's always someone desperate enough for what you have to give you anything you want for it. It's just a matter of having the patience to find them. Plus, everyone seems to be giving away all their vintage hats for simple poly weapons, metal, or crates.

So if you're into collecting hats now's the best time ever to double your collection!

I got those hats free with my pre-order/ worms was gifted, and i traded my max hat for the bills hat and a name tag so not really
