I traded my sunbeams Larrikin Robin for a low tier unusual and a couple hats. Then traded that unusual for a couple more hats. I got a fuckload of offers for it with some ridiculous stuff like soldier medals, earbuds, Bill's hats, Max's heads, and all kinds of shit I don't like. So I settled for a lower offer because the guy offered me some cool stuff upfront and I liked it.
So in the end, Larrikin Robin with sunbeams = Batter's Helmet, Vintage Killer's Kabuto, Vintage Ten Gallon, German Gonzila, Blighted Beak, two Larrikin Robins, Trophy Belt, Party Phantom, Tyrant's Helm, Vintage Fancy Fedora, and a regular Fancy Fedora.
You may say I got "scammed." Considering sunbeams go for a lot, and the Larrikin is a good hat. However, I knew full well what its value was and I didn't really care. I don't like unusual hats and I'd much rather have a bunch of hats I like than a single hat with a purple name and a particle effect. I hardly even play the game anymore anyway. I try to trade away my vintage hats for their regular counterparts just so someone else can be happy with it.

Selling it for money is more hassle than it's worth. I don't feel like going to the trouble and the risk of negotiating a real-world transaction for a virtual item. And when it comes down to it, a couple hundred bucks isn't really that big of a deal to me. I'm already going to get that in a paycheck from Valve next month for the Prancer's Pride.
Frankly I'm pretty much done with this game anyway so I'm about ready to just give my backpack away to people so it doesn't really matter to me.

the first one was kinda fair, if thats bitter taste of defeat and lime im seeing (correct me if im wrong) then its worth about 1 refined, and most nv. hats are 1 - 2 refined
