When the visors came out, I hadn't played for about a month. My friend sends me a chat asking if I was trading any hats. And I told him that I was looking to get rid of a Sober Stuntsman.
He sends me a trade and tells me to accept it, so I did.
He puts a Dealer's Visor up and atm I was unsure about what they were, having seen two or three of them, but not really knowing where they came from. So I ask him if it's the Heavy's Polycount hat, since I was pretty ill-informed about that situation as well.
He says "Yeah its poly. Goes for 4 ref or other poly hat. Since your a bro and you dont have many hats ill give it to you cheap". I think he's being really nice so I thank him and give him my Stuntsman for it. The server starts laughing.
Called him a prick and removed him. For a while that Visor (and my Saxton/Gibus) was the only hat I had... :saddowns: Though I've got a hat for each class now, and I'm happy.
So i traded the said vintage football helmet for capotain and a hatless engineer then the h-e for crossbow and amputator then those 2 for v. battler helmet then b-h for magnificent monglian.
Also traded another amputator for a beanie.

If the hats are bad enough I.E. football helmet/hatless then crafting is a good alternative to trading them.
