Hey guys, any tips on how to find incredible trades like weapons for earbuds? I'm pretty poor but I'm looking to make myself.. not so poor :v:

play on random 2forts and trade people who seem noobish and have stuff you want.

If you want to do it the way I do here's my awesome super mega guide
Step 1.
Go to a trade server and buy 2 or 3 Ellis' Caps (I buy these for a reclaimed each so I can get them as quick as possible).
Step 2.
Find a noob friendly server.
I mainly trade on cp_orange and mario_kart servers. Since it's easy to get lots of frags on these servers, new and/or unskilled players flock to these.
Step 3.
Trade with [B]everyone[/B] on the server.
When trade is accepted politely say "Hello", put the Ellis' in the trade window and then say "I want to trade for another hat".
If the trader puts in a gibus/paper bag/unwanted hat just say you already have it.
Step 4.
When you run out of Ellis' Cap's, repeat from Step 1.

I actually have better experience when I have what they want.
One time I was on a 2fort server and some guy wanted the Warrior's Spirit. He gave me a Procedure Mask and a Jag for it.
Then on a trade server, some guy wanted a Brigade Helm. He gave me a Merrywheather for it.

And another time on a Doublecross server, someone wanted a Wrangler. They gave me like 3 poly weapons weapons (they were brand spanking new atm), three v. weapons, and two crates for it.
scamming is basically just luck
you have to find somebody who has rare items and is a fucking idiot.

People who I "scammed" were pretty happy so they think its fair. So we arn't really doing any harm.

My brother just started playing after about 6 or so months so he doesn't know the street price of things.
First off you LOVES the new weapons and want's to give everything for them. but I always tells him if it's worth it or not.
But today at 7 Am (Public holiday from where i am) He decides that his Vintage Texas Ten Gallon is worth
! refined, NV buff banner, bosten basher and a Fuckin scrap metal.
My other brother who was with him tried to talk me out of it but the little dick thought it was good.
so when i come down stairs he goes up to me,, with the biggest grin saying
" Dude i traded the Engi's white hat for Weapons!"
I though he traded it for something good.

I traded my nv sola topi for the scout set weapons i was missing (Shortstop, mad milk), a description tag, and a degreaser. I'd much rather have weapons that effect my play style than a hat for a class i suck at anyways.
The degreaser is a gift for someone else and i don't know what i'll do with the tag yet. Probably give it away if i cant think of something witty.
Oh and before anyone brings it up, i already have the milkman.
