I traded non-vintage hotrod that I just crafted for the second time for a Vintage bullock or whatever it's called, that spy hat. Then 1 minute later he regretted it and wanted to reverse it. He told me that it apparently was his little brothers hat and that he could not trade it. I said no. He tried to re-trade me 5 minutes later with my old hotrod and 2 refined metal. I said no, one more refined metal! He said bu... but I don't have that!! I then said I don't care. He then desperately crafted alot of his stuff and got scrap metal after scrap metal and then reclaimed metals and eventually another refined. He then traded me again and I got my hotrod back and 3 refined metal so I crafted again and got me a grenadiers softcap aye.

Wow, that was kind of a douche move actually.

But yeah, yesterday I decided to craft together my vintage heavy duty rag and a professional's panama (I really don't like either of them all that much) to see if I could get something good.. Unfortunately I ended up with a shitty Noble Amassment of Hats, which I hate. Went around looking for people who wanted to trade for it and eventually I found some dude who offered me a vintage Frenchman's beret for it. Say what you will but I really like the Frenchman's beret so I was quick to accept.

Not really a scam since we were both happy with the trade but I think it worked out pretty well.

I was poore and Irish, so I traded my Earbuds for a hat (Drill Hat, later swapped for Tyrant's Helm). :sigh: I've since realized that that was a grave error, and I'm trying to get the guy to trade back somehow. Unfortunately, he stands by the position that, at the time, earbuds were worth a 1:1 trade and have only later gone up. Aw nuts. AW NUTS.
