Watch out for a guy named Captain Fabulous. He gives you something for free, and then asks you to visit his site that ends in the domain .co.cc
Gives you viruses
He removes you then, and his profile is set to private. I recall his account seemed to have ~30 hours and he had a vintage camera beard, so I'm assuming it's an alt account

He is spreading a keylogger/RAT with a java drive-by. The site he spreads includes a javascript, which asks you to install some java thing (looks ALMOST legit), which actually is the .exe of his virus. It's a really common method used by all sk1ds these days. But I have to say, you have to be really dumb to even think about clicking accept. :P
But anyways, I was also about to write about him here. So only click on legit backpack links, e.g. tf2items.com and tf2b.com, and you are safe.
IF you already clicked yes or whatever the options are, then check your processes, and try to find the file named in the post by MRTW113 or other suspicious, and terminate it. After that open regedit and search for that specific file name, and if a registry key comes up with that value (probably in the startup section), check the file location and delete the file. Then delete the registry line. ALSO CHANGE YOUR IMPORTANT PASSWORDS IF YOU RAN THE JAVA THING! (Steam pw wink wink)

I just switched the colours on my bonk helm and got 2 free reclaimed :v:
Traded my Bombing Run for a Key, Description Tag, a Paint and 4 crates. Then I traded the key for a Bombing Run and three weapons. :v:
