It wasn't exactly a scam. He offered. But I got a Rubber Glove and a Vintage Ambassador (I was missing one at the time) for 2 Reclaimed Metals. I was not complaining.

I traded a bunch of the new weapons that I crafted with some kid for a Whiskered Gentleman, Ze Goggles, Towering Pillar of Hats, and a Chieftain's Challenge. Go figure.
I traded most of them away for more hats though, this new trading system is making me a huge profit.

Heard of an actual scam today.
A guy came on the server proud of his Yellow Belt he had "tricked" from a guy today. Us thinking he meant making someone accept a bad bargain, asked what he had done.
Turns out he had tricked someone that "to sell items, you put the item in the slot and then you check the white box"...
It made me feel a bit sad :(
i traded yet another razorback for a Sydney Sleeper, Bushwacka and a Black Box.
I drive a hard bargain :smug:

That reminds me, I was playing Zombie Fortress earlier and one of the guys there was talking about this dude on his normal achievement server getting scammed out of a hat. Some dude offered to tell him how to craft super Jarate if he gave him a hat. When he did, the guy disconnected from the server.

That's really not that big of a scam, some people, like me, actually like the Trophy Belt. And it was a dupe Kabuto, so he got something new and you got something new. No real loss.
