Do you am doing it quite averagely in my opinion. Depends on your personal value of the hat or whether you will trade either of them off at a later date.

God... I hate guys who think Polycount hat is worth max 3 refined.
There is blueprint which allows to make hat from 4 refined + 1 poly weap (depend of class hat).
When I'm typing in Global chat what I sell I get instantly 3 trades in same time.
First trade: Selling 4 v.weapons for your 1 refined
Second trade: 1 ref for your Troublermaker's tossle cap. It's not V. so I give you 1 ref.
Third trade: I'm giving 1 scrap for 2 mini games (or 2 shitty weapons)
Well I down graded my Vintage Modest Pile of hat + #paint + crate# (just as bonus) for non.v Modest pile of hat + 3 refined

Actually it isn't that hard to find someone offering a hat for it nowadays, I got a sober stuntman for mine.
And ellis' caps are nearing 1 reclaimed right now, and crates, crates are going down to about 1/2 a weapon. :v:
