I traded 2 parasites for a Tyrant's Helm. Then the guy came back 5 minutes later saying "I'll give you two hats for your hat", to which he pulled out the 2 parasites.

And people thought I was nuts when I traded my regular Dead Ringer for an Alien Parasite. Just traded it for a Supply Crate with a newbie who kept begging people for Ol' Snaggletooth. I told him people were crazy for the alien leech, and they would be begging to trade him Snaggletooth for it. He even threw in the new Spy knife! THe only response the other players gave in the chat was: "wow...". Then I traded my Direct Hit for another Supply Crate with someone in the same server. [edit]I love these guys. One Crate was traded for a Vintage Baker Boy, and the other for an Ushanka + Battalion's Backup. I only had to throw in a regular Pain Train.

Let's see, I'll start with my second because the first is more awesome. I traded a Vintage Jarate with some scrap metal for a Tossle Cap. I traded a regular Dalokohs Bar for (this is completely true, the dumbass actually did it) for a Toque and Beanie. I found a Procedure Mask right before that too. It feels great to get so many hats.
