Idling Addiction - Games - Facepunch Forum

Before the Cheater's Lament, I idled... Once? Twice? And it wasn't even that long. I got a few items. All that I already had. And you know what? I felt dumb for doing it. I realized that it was actually kinda dumb. I didn't idle ever since. I don't even have enough duplicates to make another piece of Scrap Metal. All the hats I have are the ones that you do nothing really to get. Minus Bill's hat. I just think it's sad how people are actually being sad/angry about this. Get over it. Play the game.

I can't idle at all. I seriously don't see the purpose. I know it's for hats and such, but I know some people who've done it for almost the whole day, or leaving their computers on 24/7 just for idling purposes. It really is an addiction.

I used to join certain idle servers because they were also good mess around servers. I'm actually sad to see some of them go.

Also, the Christmas feeling, getting up in the morning finding lots of items ready to be crafted, and sometimes a hat.
