[editline]10th January 2011[/editline] Right back at you
Guess we're even. But I guess no one can think of a decent idea for sometihng else other then Medival?
Hell, we even discussed putting an electric eel on a knife! (didn't Neo say he was going to do that?) Damn ninja Pie_tony ruining my auto merge... [editline]10th January 2011[/editline] Right back at you
OH yeah, that was my entry, thanks for reminding me
Guess we're even. But I guess no one can think of a decent idea for sometihng else other then Medival?

How about "Electric vs. Steampunk"?
And didn't Neo say that it was changed to electric + nuclear?
And didn't Neo say that it was changed to eletric + nuclear?
I remember that, but this sounds way cooler!
But it dose have a battery strapped to it. 2 to be exact. Id would of picked a better example if i was you. Reason it is great is because it is basically a simple circuit board we as kids probably did in school some how made it a weapon. Plus electric is hard to make portable, batteries do this easily its probably why there are so many on these weapons. Unless we want restrictions off "can only attack if in X range of a plug socket" :v:
Pay careful attention to my post.
Plus Electric. Electric DOES NOT mean batteries on everything. Look at that awesome lightbulb payload, now tell me it's just a battery strapped to something.

And didn't Neo say that it was changed to electric + nuclear?
Well we were talking and thought it would be better to have two distinctly different things rather then something that when thought of can fall under the same catagory.
Well we were talking and thought it would be better to have two distinctly different things rather then something that when thought of can fall under the same category.
Okay, what about my idea? And if you don't like that, how about

projectile weapons
a set of fancy weapons (since we already have some nasty ones)
improvised weaponry
some martial arts type weapons (if they're old they also fit with medieval)
food items
Updated the archive, it's paintable now, just copy across the folders in "PAINTABLE" if you want them [editline]10th January 2011[/editline]

[editline]10th January 2011[/editline] I'll fiddle with it tomorrow, I forgot the eye =/
That is really cool and creative.

Though it may not seem like an opposite I think might be interesting.
By the way, Could someone do a small modification to the Cheater's Lament so it actually is a floating halo, no supporting beams on it or anything? Like, just make the supporters invisible or something.
My idea was to include all sources of power (electric, nuclear, wind, solar, etc) and call it the "Energy Trade" or "Power Struggle" update. Future vs Past might be cool but I think it could make some of the items that have already been created a bit obsolete. For instance, how is the taser I made supposed to be futuristic? I love the idea of a medieval pack but what I love even more is the idea of us doing more packs after this one is finished. If we had started the electric pack a month ago then we would already be finishing it up and could look forward to a stand-alone medieval pack. Instead, we're still discussing what theme we want.
I love the "Power Struggle" name. And it's given me some ideas!

where is that lightbulb gun concept, i want to model it.
where is that lightbulb gun concept, i want to model it.
Release the Macrogun first
where is that lightbulb gun concept, i want to model it.
I think you mean mine, and if so then :buddy: [img_thumb]http://img816.imageshack.us/img816/8555/electrosyringegun.jpg[/img_thumb] [editline]10th January 2011[/editline]
It wasn't that we didn't decide on a theme, it was that it's been postponed over and over because (Ayesdyef was doing it?) And we already have a theme, but everyone is bitching about coming up with concepts so we were making an alternate theme so more people could participate.
Ladies, Gentlemen. I present to you (despite just releasing it :v:) version 2 of the Sleuth's Chapeau. It has jigglebones! [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/sherlock-1promo.png[/img_thumb] Download here! Also, Royzo it would be good if you just replaced the old download link in the OP with this one if you're going to add it
broken
Fixed it before you even posted that. :v:
woo, got importing tf2 animations into blender working
Still working on this as an accompanying misc item though: Should I work on the texture more or compile it and release as a camera beard replacement?
woo, got importing tf2 animations into blender working [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/whatingodsname.gif[/img_thumb]
Filename fits. It fits a lot.

looks pretty obvious tbh
One problem with electric is that electricity is basically a visual clue of crits in TF2.
i need a perspective view as well, and i need more details on the flat parts.
No problem. I'll get one to you as soon as I can.
One problem with electric is that electricity is basically a visual clue of crits in TF2.
And sappers, and buildings...Well, sappers are buildings, but you get the idea. The powerjack is made of a car jack and a car battery (omg electricity) but it has No critical hits as a downside so....
To be fair he may have missed the whole electric pack thing I missed a lot of it ..Why are you on Facepunch on your blackberry?
Visiting my parents. Didn't have access to a computer.
