Damn, where is the critzloop fix?
Damn, where is the critzloop fix?
Charge with the Targe. That fixes it.
woo, got importing tf2 animations into blender working [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/whatingodsname.gif[/img_thumb]
I was listening to Walk The Dinosaur when I saw that.
Custom nade? [img_thumb]http://i495.photobucket.com/albums/rr320/drh3ll/nade.jpg[/img_thumb]
Reminds me of the Combine dark energy pulse grenade from HL2 for some reason. Or, if you don't want to use a total mouthful, a comball.
Or, if you don't want to use a total mouthful, a comball.
Well, it's not that hard to type. If this was an actual spoken conversation, then yes, I would use Combine ball or something.
Can someone help me with my transparency? I think I'm having troubles because he has really thin arms and I can't make the alpha layer thinner http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6545267/Photos/tf2/transparencyhalp.png

Give you a tip, trace out the shape of the figure with the pen tool, make sure you are doing this slightly indented though, this will remove the white/black/coloured outline.
The much quicker, more effective solution would be too fill the edge of the original image with black instead of white. Leave the alpha channel as it is.
I'm using the same knowledge I used from making sprays, I put a grey backround behind my image, should I replace that with white? Also, I have no idea what vector tracing is :v: And tracing all 9 classes doesn't seem appealing to me, would take a long time.

basically vector tracing is a waste of time for images that aren't vectors
Vector tracing is a term used where you create a solid colour copy of an original image, also can be scaled indefinably.
Oh, I know what you mean now, that's too much effort. I'll try filling the edge with white seeing as I'm doing it to many different files.
basically vector tracing is a waste of time for images that aren't vectors
Not if you want a sharp, smooth alpha.
You know I'm sure changing the border of the image to black is the best solution, here's a picture because you don't seem to be understanding me: before: after:

I'mma making da shovel, shits progressin. Still gotta make smoothin' groups, unwraps and textures etc. etc. It's called a Drain Shovel/Spade, at least here in Denmark. It's a good bit bigger than the normal shovel.
I did the RED Scout from that pack, if you'd like it.
What do you mean? Once I cut out the white backround I just have to do something to one thing one and make a droplet for the rest
What do you mean? Once I cut out the white backround I just have to do something to one thing one and make a droplet for the rest
Well that's from a pack of images isn't it? I've got the RED Scout cut out and ready to work in-game. Would you like it?
Damn, where is the critzloop fix?
You mean the one by me, which just actually mutes the Critcharge sound?
So I "fixed" the looping Critsound. Download here

Well that's from a pack of images isn't it? I've got the RED Scout cut out and ready to work in-game. Would you like it?
Oh, sure okay. I might not actually get the pack done because it can get quite tedious editing them all, but yeah.
I may even attempt to edit the model and make it jiggle as the player moves. But I'll do the simple texture edit first.
If you're willing to go as far as the model editing, just go ahead and make a better looking ring. The current one looks like a shitty piece of plastic a kid made for his birthday.
Oh, sure okay. I might not actually get the pack done because it can get quite tedious editing them all, but yeah.
That's why I gave up.
I'm fairly sure my method's quick and easy
What do I do with this now?
Unwrap it and finish it
Unwrap it and finish it
:golfclap: Which class do I give it to? that is the question.
looks like sniper but it's quite boring for Sniper, how about Soldier?
looks like sniper but it's quite boring for Sniper, how about Soldier?
far too big
