So, in a sudden fit of nostalgia, I decided to remake the first weapon I made in collaboration with Pie_Tony. So, here we go. Just wanted to get this out there before I forget. After this theme, what do you guys think about one where the Engineer makes new weapons for everyone? Hell, that might even work for this theme if ya think about it, like Visored's Grenade Launcher. Could even call it the "Remember the Engineer Update". Ok, ok bad joke, how bout the "Engineer Update"? Lol, and don't say gold wrenches for everyone. I'm still brainstorming my concepts though, any ideas?

This actually could be a viable theme (but not for this pack), IMO.

Overly techy weapons that are gimicky, but in a good way.

Basically, the idea was making weapons out of components of existing class weapons, or using the basic concepts that a particular classes weapons follow. My problem was that it got tricky making the weapons unique enough without being "a spy with a rocket launcher." I like this idea of just adapting one class.

So i'm still struggling with making the bones in my melee weapon work! [img]http://i1026.photobucket.com/albums/y322/CptNuke/item_test0004-1.jpg[/img] I don't quite understand the significance of the way things are grouped. I know vertex groups are like the same as vis groups in Hammer (ie. an easy way to sort groups of objects/vertices for easy access). I'm having a hard time understanding the significance of all the other stuff. At the top you see an orange stick figure, which i assume is where bones/meshes are categorized under. But under it you see c_mace which holds 2 bones, which i don't get because i only placed 1 bone. The orange triangle represents properties i think. I still don't know what an armature is. :confused:
