I think he means that Neo shouldn't bother making awesome icons but instead, fix these horrible pixels so they'll look good.
I think the one Neo made looks a bit bland/bad. I prefer this icon.
Solid colors: Any suggestions?
A few more screenshots of the minigun, still no UV maps. [img_thumb]http://img828.imageshack.us/img828/2599/firstpersonview.png[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/5680/hoovyishoopy.png[/img_thumb]
Hmm, if that gets ingame it shouldn't have any windup time like the other miniguns.
maybe make the top and bottom bits match the pyro's yellow on his tank and nades?
Solid colors: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Flqdv.png[/img_thumb] Any suggestions?
Tape around the handle and other colors, the ones you use now are too cartoony.
It's always been a part of the pyro... Just not in his hands. I fucked up something with the bone. Should it have a local location or a global location in blender? How can i make the weapon's angles correspond to the bone's angles?
I don't really know what i'm talking about here, but in TF2 i've seen weapon_bone, as well as weapon_bone_L, weapon_bone_R, and weapon_bone_1. This may or may not help. With my luck, probably not.
Tape around the handle and other colors, the ones you use now are too cartoony.
No tape. Colors are from the palette on the TF2 contribute site. Will try with pyro tank yellow.
I like uvwmapping :v:
Noise maker, Secret Saxton and Crate models!
Solid colors: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Flqdv.png[/img_thumb] Any suggestions?
I've never actually seen a crutch with that color. Most the ones I've seen are metallic.
select weapon, select bone, press Ctrl+P, choose armature deform with empty groups, assign vertices to vertex groups, ???, profit
Okay so i can do everything on this list except assign vertexes to vertex groups. How do i do that?
Noise maker, Secret Saxton and Crate models!
Also a name/description tag.
Solid colors: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Flqdv.png[/img_thumb] Any suggestions?
Either dirt or blood in the side you hit people with. [editline]11th January 2011[/editline]
the ones you use now are too cartoony.
Er, we're talking about TF2.
note that the tank isn't team colored, both teams have blue teams yellow, and seeing how its a weapon and not a hat i think you should take colors from other weapons rather then the character
I've never actually seen a crutch with that color. Most the ones I've seen are metallic.
It's the 70-80s. [editline]11th January 2011[/editline] What did my automerge ever do to you [editline]11th January 2011[/editline] Five CPs, and all of them are decorative.
Solid colors: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Flqdv.png[/img_thumb] Any suggestions?
You should make the red team version wooden like that, and the blue team version with metal instead of wood and blue for the other parts. It'd suit the team bases art style too.
I think it's 60s to 70s. Doesn't the calendar say '68 or something?
RustySpannerz;27350560']I think it's 60s to 70s. Doesn't the calendar say '68 or something?
June 1968
Okay so i can do everything on this list except assign vertexes to vertex groups. How do i do that?
There's a vertex group tab in the properties panel to the right. Also, I fixed up the colors but I am not too hot on the top part. Need to make it look like leather.
That Kalashnikov minigun looks awesome, Cake.
Ugh what the fuck! The model viewer shows the bone as working fine, but when i try to make the pyro hold it i can't even see the weapon now.
Bone is there, but model isn't mounted to bone.

[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Gy73I.png[/img_thumb]
Darken it and make it look a little less like plastic, but still bright and plastic-y
ITE: Pyro melees and Heavy miniguns.
Is there any way to make a payload that travels on it's own? Like, as a cosmetic effect moving along a certain path.
im looking for mod, that makes unusuall without effects
I just thought I'd repost this, because it's supa cool and it's not in the OP.
Is there any way to make a payload that travels on it's own? Like, as a cosmetic effect moving along a certain path.
I'm like 80% sure it is possible. I've once seen a train travelling on a map.
im looking for mod, that makes unusuall without effects
Do you mean removes the effects from Unusuals or add an effect to a random hat of your? Because the former is possible, infact I was considering doing it, whereas the latter is impossible.
