Can anyone tell me how how I can make my hat paintable? I've messed with the alpha but it doesn't do anything. Figure i need to put a command into the vmt for it to work.
I have a request; There are a lot of hats as of late that I find pretty ugly/unfitting with TF2, and I'd like a replacement model that's simply an invisible cube or something. Ideally, I'd like it made for each hat (so downloaders could pick and choose which hats they want to make disappear). If it's too much of a pain in the ass to recompile a blank cube for each hat, I'd be willing to do it if someone could show me how to do it for one hat. Edit: And the great thing about a mod like this is, as far as I know, even if the server has sv_pure 1 on, it'll still keep the hat invisible. If it were any other hat replacement this would be annoying, but given the purpose of this mod is to make ugly hats disappear, this would actually work to it's advantage. Edit 2: And I'm getting lates for this. Is someone already working on this? If not [i]I'm offering to actually do this[/i] if someone can show me how to do one hat.
Working on a better animation for the medic, Brandon told me to wait for Wade to get back from holiday to see what format they'd like animation submissions to be. I made the comic because I loved your idea and wanted to demonstrate how it'd work while also elaborating on it slightly because I didn't like how everyone disregarded it as dumb when you posted it.

You make it sound like you are creating a whole new animation set that replaces the medic's current animations.
