I think the small locking and shuddering thing would be alright.
He IS after all using a robotic hand, he could in theory still have mechanical items inside the gauntlet.
However yeah, the taunt would look odd, but Valve could disable that if they felt like it.
(unless a really awesome person decided to create a new unique taunt by themselves :3:?)

Its for the scout. Its a bat. On the top is a weird holding thing that holds Crit-a-Cola. Acts like the Caber. On hit it splashes the Crit-a-Cola on the enemy giving mini crits to both scout and enemy. Who thinks this is a good idea???

Interesting idea.
on hit enemy and player get jarate effect
get in close and quick bat, then swap to scattergun to finish off - provided you survive long enough
In the AW thread there was discussion about a spy version, but no backstabs seemed like too big a downside.

And all Valve-made kill taunts suck. The previous ones were created to look good (pyro shotgun, fists), and then they did those who just look out of place (huntsman, ubersaw, frontier justice, gunslinger) for the sole purpose of kill taunts.
So yeah, I don't like kill taunts.

The main problem I can see is creating a likeness that seems realistic and not slapped together. The Caber is a potato-masher grenade used as a melee weapon and is somewhat understandable. However, a bat with a can of soda taped to it seems really lazy.

He could make a taunt that wasn't a killtaunt though.
A good example would be the Sco-Res taunt.

No. I was thinking of making it look a bit futuristic. One section is just a bat. The on the top is a glass like container holding the cola. Ill make some concept arts in a bit.

Regarding TheSpy's idea, perhaps it could be a Bonk Glass bottle?
A bonk glass bottle shaped in the same way as retro coca-cola bottles would be rather in character, would make sense to contain bonk, and would make sense to break. It could be held like Demoman's bottle, and break in the same manner. Mini-crits applied on both Scout and the enemy sounds like an interesting idea.
Be aware though that since Scout unlike Demoman doesn't have any melee weapons that break, there is still a chance that Valve would not at all want to implement such a feature for it.

It's not really that hard to code actually. It just has to change like 5 or 6 lines in code - Oh wait too much work for Valve.
