I love TF2Mods.net, but the thing is, there are multiple versions of some mods, because it doesn't look like you can edit submissions. Or delete some of your own, for that matter.
If a few of theses scraps were cleaned up, it'd be more of a direct upgrade from GB than it already is.

I had toyed with "Major Tom"
Anyone know where I can find the particle effects? And how I can edit them?
I want to make a few unusual particles of my own.

How about "Celestial Eye", both referencing the goldfish and space while also sounding pretty fancy.

Hell-Met mentioned that in the last Emporium shortly after you said that you'll start working on the next version of the improved killicons in January.

I don't quite see how they allows me to edit the particles.
It just shows me them. No editing part in my view.

Not to chastise you in particular, but I've really started to become annoyed at people doing this. I try to walk them through the use of some simple Source tool and eventually they just go "FUCK IT, TOO COMPLICATED". If everyone had that attitude, no mods would ever be made, you know.
And the ironic part is that some great mods that a lot of people like don't even require any artistic talent to create; just know-how of some simple free tools. Take my loadout icons for example. You just need to know how to use Source SDK Model Viewer and an image editor of your choice to save the screenshot with transparency. I am extremely uncreative and have no original ideas of my own as far as new items or models go, but I'm lauded for my works because I improved a few minor visual aspects of the game that bothered some people.
No need to be a Sparkwire or NeoDement - just knowing how to use a simple tool like Particle Editor already enables you to do cool stuff that other people want.
You should start writing speeches.

if you troll the pimping thread on polycount, you would notice cwalkthroughs made shit skins for like Bonk! until they kicked him out. He's shit and will be shit.

Well in any case it will be fixed as soon as I get home, along with all the other little changes I'm doing. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I don't check every post in every emporium so that sort of thing really belongs in a PM.

Don't judge people on how good their projects are until they start to think they make good ones.

It's not really that it's too complicated. It's that the average person is just lazy and doesn't want to bother with something that requires effort unless they are truly and deeply interested in it.

Sometimes, source is too much for people who haven't had any background in it. Hell untill I knew hammer like the back of my hand alot of stuff was too much for me. The truth is that, they don't go "FUCK IT TOO COMPLICATED", they're going "Man, this is complex. I'm going to take a step back and revisit it." Don't be singling out a type of people who appear to give up, because lets face it here - Whats happening is you explaining something in a very complicated fashion and them going "I don't understand, I don't think I want to do this anymore, I'll come back later"
[editline]2nd January 2011[/editline]
And, beleive it or not, if they say "I don't want to do this" Don't catch an attitude, just realise that one day, they're going to go back on it. I stopped mapping the first 3 minutes in source sdk the first time I tried it. And guess what, I went back.
Testing a new loading background...

Some ideas for the background, behind the postcards ?
