These people are artists, unlike SPUF they don't always praise shit just because it looks silly or cool.

I'm a graphic designer; obviously, if I didn't care about digital art, I wouldn't be here. And I primarily blame video games for that, I mean if I wasn't attempting to make mods for games at a young age I never would have learned how to use Photoshop in the first place and now it's turned into a career for me. The ultimate slap in the face, though, is when you break your fingers designing a billboard for the company you work for only for them to say it's great, it's awesome, we're sending it to this guy in California and we're going to use his version of your design instead. That hurts. You do all the work, he gets all the credit, and in the end sure I get a paycheck but since this is a nonprofit I make way less than the average graphic designer does. Neo, I share your pain. Nothing sucks worse in life for an artist than to be told your work isn't good enough, and in your case the TF team didn't even see all of it and they're already telling you they've got replacements made. Makes me wanna kill myself.

Usually I'd be happy to get new official killicons in the game, but now that they're not from NeoDement and co I'm actually predicting I'll just overwrite everything with the killicon mod again because it'll lack the quality I've gotten used to.

At least now that all the missing killicons will be filled in script-wise, NeoDement can use a lot more from the "unused" column in the actual mod.
Say, does anyone remember the Ockham's Razor model? I was watching Sweeny Todd, which was a pretty good film in my opinion, and near the end I started to remember Ockham's Razor, which was a pretty nice model. I think Sparkwire did some animation work on it, too. So, anyone know what happened to the Razor?
Along with allot of nice models from the Polycount contest it never got released as half the people in that contest still hold hope that it will get in game. Valve glitch. Submissions without classes don't go through.

Is there a way to check how many submissions you have? I think the lack of releasing polycount stuff partially comes from people not being aware that people can and want to use their models as mods. And also they don't usually release their work over there because the finished product is typically a sheet to present on a portfolio. Cases of art theft pop up once in a while and it'd no doubt be much more common if source files were released freely. That said if you contact the creator I'd bet at least some of them would be open to releasing their work. (while we're on the topic...
