max w/ dual core SLI overpowered to 500n with my gepower graph card 2tb hard drive $6000 alienware
:crying:
everyting on max, dx9 and 1920x1080 :buddy:
Highest plus all the cfg tweaks like the HWM models and VCD's, picmip -10, decal limit set to 9999, LOD'ing off, etc.
lowest of the lowest and the game still lags
1920x1080, everything maxed, 8xMSAA, with high-quality-Meet-The-models.
150+ FPS.
Max though I turn off the V-Sync and only put AA at 4x since there's no difference between that and a higher AA option. I also set the Meet The Team models and turn off the low detail distance render (r_lod 0).
I get around a 150 - 300 FPS. 80 underwater for some reason.
(AKA I hope you read this and realize how much of a douchebag it makes you look when you brag.)
Higher end to max, I don't remember off the top of my head. Laptop gamer though, so it's more likely to be higher end.
I run high on a laptop. It runs flawlessly.
All max on a laptop, with no AA.
I run at optimum res (1440x900) with all settings on their highest except for AA (no AA for me, I really don't give a shit about it.)
Maxed but at directx 80 to remove phong and the shiny-brightness effect (not hdr). It looks real nice actually.
mat_picmip -5
Anti-aliasing at highest in CCC
Everything else set to highest possible
Around 90-120 fps
You're an idiot. You can go past the refresh rate, it will just result in shearing.
Your monitor won't display more than the refresh rate
Say you have 75 refresh and 125 fps, it can only display 75
Without vsych you get screen-tearing, what's the point of having a 125fps on an 75 rate monitor?
Run as high as the game will let me. I'm still trying to figure out the console command to make everything look better.
Mit_pic_map 10 or something like that, Anyone know?
Mat_picmip -10.
But it doesn't go above about 1.
Max, "Meet The" face models, maximum config, 32xQ CSAA.
2960x1050 @ 124.6 FPS (custom bench)
:aaa:

There's a command to add higher HDR/bloom, but I forgot it what it was. It will blind you though
high-quality-Meet-The-models
where can i find these?
1920x1080, everything maxed, 8xMSAA, with high-quality-Meet-The-models.
150+ FPS.
Same here except my monitor only goes up to 1440x900.
All low, Max FPS config, old school pack.
I don't need your sympathy.
Gameplay over graphics. I admire you. Unlike all these crappy 'realism' titles.
where can i find these?
mp_usehwmmodels 1; mp_usehwmvcds 1
IMO if you don't have AA enabled it isn't maxed.
Also does anybody EVER notice any AF fps hit? I always ramp it up in all games and don't notice any drop... I've got a quad core, 8800gt and 4GB of ram but I thought it would do something.
EDIT:
1680x1050 maxed 16xQSAA (or something)
Comoddore 64
1680X1050 maxed
16xFSAA
Just activated the meet the crew command
All standard settings at highest with anti-aliasing at 16x.
1680x1050 (-windowed -noborder)
And commands like:
r_lod 0
mat_picmip -3
mp_usehwmmodels 1
mp_usehwmvcds 1
r_decals 4096
mp_decals 4096
cl_burninggibs 1
I don't really know about my FPS, but it's usually 60, as I use vsync to cap it.
All max, Full AA and nVidia forced settings (like whatever that shadowing is called, it escapes me for some reason)
Cinematic Ratio 640x1440 windowed
All max settings, but resolution down to 1024 x 768 from 1680 x 1050.
All max settings, but resolution down to 1024 x 768 from 1680 x 1050.
You have LCD? I've heard you get better performance running at native resolution
Low, used to run on medium/high, but for some reason tf2 just starts lagging all the time now.
Balance between performance and quality, though lately I've really wanted more performance. Sadly for some reason my game always dips to around 30 FPS in areas with a lot of action no matter how low I set the settings at. I need a new CPU. :frown:
