I'd be careful with making it too wide or having all the detail in the front where you wont see it due to the body of it. Also i'd personally stick with something wooden for the grip part along the lines of the "funny" one, and do keep the pure round hole for the trigger guard, that always feels more simplified and tf2-y imo

These are awesome. I have noticed though that Valve allowing the importer to only accept hats now has caused people to re-prioritize their items to only hats. I miss seeing all the weapon mods. I won't use cosmetic mods because it just kinda seems a bit silly to me but I use weapon mods all the time and it is a big let down to see hardly none be released. Hopefully people just start to get working on more weapons next year or people start releasing their unreleased stuff. Like the old sapper Nassim0 has been working on, the Assault Cannon by Svdl and that Space Explorer...

Vertex normals affect how an item blends in with player models, right? I've been trying for a while but I just can't figure out how to edit them. How do I do this?

(so it bends in two locations and makes it easier to keep attached)

Work on reshaping the goatee, super plain and boring and angular right now
