making another workshop item with the fix and e-mailing valve about it is your best bet

I understand, I found out it existed like 3 days after it was ready, and, honestly, getting positivo comments and being on the 2nd page raised my hopes a lot, same with the eyebrows. Anyway, if Gigazelle can get that many items done without getting in, it means it shouldn't give up.

i always test jigglebones extensively in itemtest map. get on the map as pyro and airblast like crazy.

EDIT: Wait what the fuck? I just tested it via item test and the lighting works perfectly. Is it possible that my self made version is fucked up some how due to the effect on it?
EDIT 2: Oh my god, it is the effect that's causing the issue. It worked fine in item test then when I applied the community sparkle effect to it it goes black.

I think community sparkle also affects the phong of a model, so maybe the phong boost is working incorrectly?

yes I know this is a total dick move on my part after NoaJM spent time doing the same thing after I was a bitch about releasing mine

Im just gonna put this up here so I can stop worrying about it, I'll keep it updated with new hats and stuff though
Has full LOD support, redone facial flexes, real Valve ubers with correct coloring and the fancy eye glows, full zombie support, and a head gib that is in line with the stock ones. There are also files included to use a high definition head gib in the style of [URL="http://tf2.gamebanana.com/skins/89549"]this mod.[/URL] As well as a version of the model with the high poly SFM hands. VPK tool is included in download so you can easily repack it if you want the HD stuff. I also included all my PSD and TGA source files so people have nice lossless and layered sources to work with if they want to edit the textures.
Note that the item fixes do not contain LODs so don't install this if you are running on Windows 98. Pom-Pommed, Ninja Cowl, and Polar Pullover all have custom flexes. Still working on fixing up Stylish Spy, will release a Stylish version of this when it's ready.

I think this should probably go into the modeling forum but seeing how I am making a hat for TF2 specifically, I want to know how to enable double sided polygons when exporting to the Source engine.
I prefer not to make a very thin rectangular mesh because I want to cut back on the polygons wherever I can.

Gonna have to double your faces and invert them, so that optimization wont do much.
