The first person Spy arms model doesn't have these bones, that's probably the main reason why it won't work.
Is the model that little gauntlet thing, or is it just the knife?

The gauntlet.
Since the custom spy doesn't have sleeves, the gauntlet is necessary, or the knife will just float near the wrist.
does anyone knows where are the material files for the festive lights located on all the maps?

It could be possible to make the gauntlet part of the player model, this way, you can make the knife work in first and third person.

Import gauntlet, merge it with the mesh of the player model, right?
Doesn't sound hard.
But why the knife doesn't work with the gauntlet?
I don't know if people even will want this, but it should prove useful if you experience the visual glitch often.

The smoothing on the bag looks bad. The belt part should have hard edges, and the buttons should have hard edges too.

The phong properties for gold weapons are obnoxious, it would be better if you just took the default weapons' vmts and added _gold to the file names.

Ok, maybe I do need help.
I'm trying to merge the gauntlet with the model, but when I use the body with the gauntlet, and merge them with Ctrl+J, the gauntlet model becomes part of the body. With that, the gauntlet won't be able to use the textures, right?
What I'm supposed to do?
