Is the white on the inside of the collar a bug or something?
Also the white of that... shoulder thing should be a bit more dirty, other than that i think everything is good.

i really love this, it's just i figured from the comic that the hair spy was growing was from not attending oo his hygienic needs, and waz more of a scraggly fuzz rather than a full blown beard, but nice work anyways :D
So what's the next "holiday" we should aim for? or just another community update?
I plan to spend 2014 hoarding all my items until a week before each update and then piling them all onto the workshop, instead of constantly releasing as i finish leaving them to be lost in the tide

I'd change the, uh, Tube ahead of what looks like gears to be a cream spirit color, otherwise it'd be a drastic change in color for the engineer's glove.

epaulets are meant to hold the straps in place. you wrap them around the straps, not pierce though them. I'm pretty sure you can move them closer top his neck and they would still make sense.
the brown you've used could be slighty less dark as well, or switch them to use the same yellow as the coat's border. right now they draw way too much attention towards the medic's shoulders, making them look like a completely diferent item.

If you want to put this on the workshop you should try to show more of the soldiers face by creating a bigger crack. You might want to make it smaller too.

The biggest issue is making it cover Soldier's head like a proper helmet, while keeping the bell shape, although the bell shape causes clipping with SOldier's head if worn too low. I'll have to tweak it until I find an outcome I'm satisfied with.

I considered it, but I figured it'd be too large that way.
How do I align VMTs to different skins? (red, blu, uber blu, etc)
Apparently its via skinfamilies, but mine is totally messed up, but it still works, somehow.
I'm using Crowbar for decompiling, btw.
I was making a bell hat for smissmas. Complete with holly that jiggled and a berry, anyone remember? It was also slanted to the side and a very suitable bell shape :( Oh well, I'm sure you'll do a better job than me, Zombie :)
