I fixed trying to load the DMX but now Sniper has a moustache growing out of his ear, its set up fine in Blender so I'm not quite sure what's happening.

Maybe when you imported the playermodel ,it was rotated?

It was working fine when it was an SMD, I've tried rotating the playermodel back to the original position but it doesn't do anything.
You can rotate it all you want, but it won't actually do anything until you hit Ctrl-A and select apply rotation. I learned that the hard way.

you have to apply the location how joe said. otherwise the dmx just sets it relative to the default rotation etc

also if youre using the player model blend files fissionmetroid made to have proper smoothing, those models skeletons are rotated incorrectly. i usually import a new skeleton with sergeantjoes player model smd pack to fix this.

Anyone out there got an item that needs facial flexes? I'd like to try working on an actual workshop submission for once. No $$$ percentage necessary if it gets in game.
I've got one, but it's pretty complicated. Part of it's ripped straight from the Engineer's face, which means it has to match the default flexes. If you're good at that then go ahead.
I just went to bed though, I'll send it tomorrow if you're interested.
Speaking of flexes, is there even a point to doing them anymore unless it's only for a mod? The importer doesn't even allow them, every flexed item submitted loses them in the importer and remain static.

Not every flexed item loses it flexes once imported, just some or one if I'm correct.

Some of the newer beards (gold digger, brush with death, etc) have flexes despite being imported. the importer just seems to be hit and miss (cuban bristle)
