yes it looks too plain IMO, it needs some beveled edges, barrel holes, more detail on the top piece and a way to break its too-repetitive shape(maybe give the tubes on the top different heights? and a shell ejection slot

How come the bottom tube has a hole? Isn't that where the shells are stored? I went and checked the other TF2 shotguns, the stock, Rescue Ranger and Reserve Shooter have that bottom tube sealed off, where the Frontier Justice has it as an open hole on the end. I think it could be placed above or below the class icon of the Medic's. If you look at it, it sort of resembles the insignia of the Team Captain.)
Anyone know a way to get a good AO in 3ds max without big blobs of black where stuff is covered.

You cant manage a reloading animation without any errors, when you create the weapon like this. You have to do custom animations but I don't recomend that.

I agree to the slung belt. That's not even related to "nazi uniform" you kinda see them everywhere. Well I couldn't really think of how to get an insignia on the sleeve without it looking oddly slapped on. I've just been messing around with the design a bit to see if I could make it look a little bit more like modern uniforms with some small details. [T]http://puu.sh/6e094.jpg[/T] The buckle is just there to show what it would look like, I'm rather against it to be honest, at least might think of something less generic looking. Long cuffs removed because modern uniforms seem to be lacking those as well and I probably shouldn't be covering parts that are team colored. Edit: I added stripes. You may be able to place an insignia on them, that's actually what's meant to be there on the real uniform I took them from but I lack any skill with drawing wings. I also removed a lot of gold and replaced it with dark Team Captain red, seeing as you're trying to make it look right with that hat specifically, just a thought. [T]http://puu.sh/6eb57.png[/T]
