The Workshop seems to be fixed now. Might as well do some more self advertising.

Looks like a lot of hassle tbh
Thanks, I'll see if I can transfer Lightwave to Blender
Also found out my teacher worked on "Reboot", Pretty cool to learn 3d Modelling from someone who was one of the first to make them.
Seems like the workshop is slowly returning to normal. Uploaded this a few minutes ago and it hasn't shown up on the recent uploads list.

i did use the original shoes for a base, but it isnt just a rescale and recolor. i should really add some chracter to it, i guess.

Also, may I do your SFM shot? The visible polygonal faces don't make the item look very attractive.

-snip because workshop is dead-
Did you get BANG!'s permission / approval?
(stop me if im wrong)
once something is accepted into Team Fortress 2, via the Steam Workshop, Valve owns the items. They've paid (and continue to pay) their royalties via sales percentage. They've bought the item, it's part of the Team Fortress 2 IP now. If someone were going to make something with the Bonk! logo, they wouldn't need permission. You can use any asset in TF2 as part of your item, regardless of the original maker, as it's Valve's property now.
It's more a matter of respect as there are obvious design similarities. Even though it probably is technically allowed, I would inform BANG! Without BANG!, the design never would have existed.
So uh...

part of me expected the cat to have an eye-patch/scar or something to rock the bond villain cliche even harder.

Cat needs a style where the cat is diguised as a bird.

It may be just me, but it doesn't quite look like a flaregun, especially on the barrels.

The concept art replaced the flare with a trio of shotgun shells. So maybe it's more of a shotgun on the flaregun anims? I dunno.

the back right-hand side of the hair looks screwy
it looks fantastic from the front though!
and for what it's worth it doesn't matter that much where the buckle goes, I like it where it is but wasn't offended by the front placement.

Quite the awesome set, but I'm just wondering- what's with the wrist buckles? I know that's where the modeled on skin and normal hand seam is hidden, but couldn't it be anything better than just some buckle bracelets? They just don't make much sense being there.

no, that's actually very untrue. You retain IP rights for your items.
no, that's actually very untrue. You retain IP rights for your items.
Mexican is right, you keep rights of your models with the workshop contract. That's why Valve now pay Bang royalties for the foam BONK! bat too, because they don't own it.
Yeah, I waited all day for Bang to get online and then missed that 10 minute window...
Don't forget he didn't invent Bonk! though, it's just the earcups I recreated that I want to make sure is okay with him :P
