I was legitimately thinking of that, but I kind of switched from the older-era context of the pajamas to more modern pajamas. I'll do a version with and without it just to see what people like.

I'd say no because buttflaps have buttons. so i'd recommend modeling it.
A while a go some one I belive it was neo released a "full texture" version of the ups pool caber that added like a hazard warning sign to the grenade portion but it was as a URL link and has be lost could some one re release it as a mod

There are some cosmetics I don't think I will be able to fix.
Also, is there a good rotation tutorial? I'm trying to "push" down one end of the object, to make the other end go up.

Cant you just select the bit you want to 'push' and the bit you want to 'raise' (and the bits in between) then rotate the entire selection in the appropriate axis?

have you tested it for clipping yet? god knows the times i textured before fixing clipping, and it bit my ass later.

That looks like something you might have to do manually. Proportional editing would probably help you aswell :)

This is my 'Test' item, some Texan boots. When I finished (I had only made a basic texture) I found out the maximum triangle count for the highest LOD was 1400, and I had 2030 or so.

So I tried as hard as I could to lower the Face count and ended up with this. (Just below the max Triangle count.)

I need some help with bone bindings for boots, and I also need to be able to remove default parts of the Engineer (Boots and the bottom half of his legs, as the trousers stick through the boots, as you can see here.

As you can see I also need some pointers on shoes and bone bindings...
you can't remove the part if there is no checkbox for you to uncheck it at the previous screen of the importer. in fact if that part of the boots is going to be under the pants at all times anyway, why model it? cut them off at the ankles and reshape the soles until they go over the stock shoes.

You cannot remove bodyparts that dont have a bodygroup (hat, pyro's head, scouts feet, ETC)
if there's no bodypart you have to build above it.
assuming you're in blender, check the vertex group on the playermodel, and see how engi's foot is rigged to the bones, then use that to imitate it onto your boot.
