can someone shed some light on this?
some items i'm working on get this issue of what seems only half of the faces show up on the model, they show up as scattered triangles while the rest are just transparent
it's the same model and texture shown here both in blender and importer
the alpha is the entire texture, though i plan to change it to the red stripe later for painting reasons

Texture looks good but might want to lighten up the visor's shadow AO on the helmet if it moves around (which I vaguely remember you saying it does?).

First thing I've ever made completely from scratch, although I started from a low poly version of the mask I had lying around, don't remember where it came from originally.
The texture isn't especially TF2'ish, but it fits in the game decently enough. For me it's good though, real good. I don't think I've ever textured anything half as well as I have this.
Comes with backpack icons and features a bit of subtle self illumination for extra 3spook

No name as of yet, haven't thought of anything that fits. Uploaded it to tf2maps with the placeholder cp_underground. The map started off underground, but then I thought 'nah'.

It has to do with normals, the direction each polygon faces.
If you highlight all polygons on your mesh and hit the button 'recalculate' under normals, it will fix it 99% of the time (unless you have a weird mesh that contradicts itself).
Also if you press N it will open up a menu that has an option to reveal normal direction with a little line. I've only had to use that once, and it was because I had an extra tri hidden underneath the mesh messing up the normal recalculating part.
Welp, the rigging on the pyrowerfer's hose isn't going to get any better as long as [I]I'm[/I] working on it.

Is there a way to select many faces at the same time with blender?
The part of the mesh I want to select is separated from the rest, but I think there must be a better way than selecting every single face one by one.

hovering over a part you want and pressing L selects that whole part
alt+right click selects loops, either edge or faces.
pressing c lets you freehand paint over faces/verts/edges you want to select
b does the same but with a square box

I have an old mod that replaces a weapon, but killstreaks stop working when I install it (even in other weapons). Any fix for that?
