Another cross-post from Arms Race, decided to make the axegun Pyro exclusive, so I wanted to show how it's anims looked: And I STILL don't know what to name it. Anyone have any ideas?
Swiss Army Axe / Swiss Mercenary Axe (The jokes pretty obvious.) Shotaxe (Replace gun with axe?)

That doesn't fit with the TF2 artstyle.
I'm still looking for a reliable modeler to make my rocket launcher concept a reality, message me if you want to take a crack at it! http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y119/phillipc/fourthofjulyconceptfullredone_zpsaa3b2f06.png
That doesn't fit with the TF2 artstyle.
like i said it's wip. i was thinking about adding some gimmicky details along with the traditional tape, nails, scratches, and such.
like i said it's wip. i was thinking about adding some gimmicky details along with the traditional tape, nails, scratches, and such.
I think it's the colors, the super dark soulless metal, and the gritty spraypaint on the shotgun. It would look good for another game, if it's any consolation.
I think it's the colors, the super dark soulless metal, and the gritty spraypaint on the shotgun.
Military police pyro weapons WIP:
That flare gun would be pretty smexy if you cahnge the color scheme
That flare gun would be pretty smexy if you cahnge the color scheme
The flaregun's shape looks good, and tbh I don't mind the color palette but you should probably change it a bit to reduce confusion with the scorch shot. Only bit that I'm not a fan of for it is that weird lighter attachment on the bottom, seems too...cobbled together/impromptu for the theme of the set.
And I STILL don't know what to name it. Anyone have any ideas?
The Bladed Buckshot? The All-In-One Axecution Kit? The Scatter Slasher? The Deforestator? The Half-Grip Hatchet?
I would say "The Coupled Cleaver" but it's obviously not a cleaver. "The Coupled _____".

wip color change? : alot more too do but should i keep this going?
that seems too bulky
[T]http://i.imgur.com/DFonvNG.jpg[/T] Not disregarding that feedback, but perhaps another look with placeholder colors and a trial rig. (Obvious rigging errors aside, I also have some ideas bouncing around for a different shoulder attachment that may require a total overhaul.) The thickness is quite similar to some things that the engineer works with (tool chest handle brackets as an example). Input on colors? I'm trying to preserve the engineer's palette and similar ratios to the sentry / gunslinger. If still bulky. Is it the thickness of the metal (zing) or width of the shoulder attachment / strap (optimistic) or something else entirely (funny)? Would love to hear specifics, thanks for your time!
-Spy Loren-
Hopefully this will get a mod release, I love it.
A simple thing I did [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/38397602/Heavypopinskistache.png[/t] Based on the facial hair of a certain soda oriented boxer. Also up for grabs.

here's a small thing i did to show the possible color scheme
That flare gun would be pretty smexy if you cahnge the color scheme
?
?
Those 3 blacks are way too dark for TF2.
?
how about....more team colored?
Those 3 blacks are way too dark for TF2.
You're right , but I think I have given enough of a visual representation for it too be considered for modeling, but as for color change the modeler/texture artist could always change the color too what they find visually appealing.
?
scratches on the wood are not necessary. the materials should not be that detailed. wood textures are mostly solid color with some small variations of hue/brightness throughout. (not brush strokes exactly, rather a lot more thin and don't contrast so much)
jack the ripper
Just a heads up, getting those little shoulder cape things to fit on the spy's shoulders without lots of clipping or making them oddly bulky is an absolute pain in the ass.
