must be a fairly newly made slideshow, most of those werent popular until a few days ago.
proves they prolong stuff.
usually they just go to the default most popular this week page and grab a few pictures, same with news articles about The Workshop.
usually they just go to the default most popular this week page and grab a few pictures, same with news articles about The Workshop.
still, having tons of devs and people at valve seeing an item i made as an example still makes me happy.
proves they prolong stuff.
yeah, that bottom right heavy bag was submitted yesterday. when was this conference?
yeah, that bottom right heavy bag was submitted yesterday. when was this conference?
It's happening right now
It's happening right now
yeah but the session with the pic in question happened 5 hours ago to be exact. theyre talking about virtual reality right now.
yeah but the session with the pic in question happened 5 hours ago to be exact. theyre talking about virtual reality right now.
then that item wasn't even 12 hours old when they made that slide. it's just like college.
then that item wasn't even 12 hours old when they made that slide. it's just like college.
All they did was take a screenshot of the workshop... it's not like they hand picked the items :-P
All they did was take a screenshot of the workshop... it's not like they hand picked the items :-P
it's the fact that they did it so close to a presentation. it got the job done, but you'd think they have enough resources to not be so close to deadline.
it's the fact that they did it so close to a presentation. it got the job done, but you'd think they have enough resources to not be so close to deadline.
I think you're making this all out to be bigger than it actually is, plus everyone procrastinates, especially when it comes to making presentation slides.
everyone procrastinates, especially when it comes to making presentation slides.
that's only easy to say after the fact for those of us never been to valve. we don't know how they work internally.
How do people make spy jackets? As in, how do you make a mesh that covers exactly a zone of the player model, without space in between them?
How do people make spy jackets? Like the Rogue's Col?
I'm trying to skin my engineer arm replacement, using the short circuit as a guide, but i can't seem to fine the arm_attach_R bone, any ideas [editline]16th January 2014[/editline] Made a nice little render, making the wire metalic made the top part look way too boring. [sp]*Still* looking for someone good at texturing[/sp]

Yellow up that fancy metal, por favor! EDIT: Just thought it looked a bit bland with every color being the same intensity.
Yellow up that fancy metal, por favor! EDIT: Just thought it looked a bit bland with every color being the same intensity.
He had it more yellow before and it was too flashy and detracted from the other colors. We've been harassing these color changes for like a week and it's pretty much perfect right now imo.
Yes. I never saw this, sorry :( Also, here's a shot of a possible paint setup. I tested it with purple for obvious reasons.
Spy likes playing Saints Row 3 yah know.
