I really like that medic mask. The only thing that works against it is the whole "covering up the face" arguement. But it's kinda on level with the plague masks really.
We're still gonna go ahead and make this here concept, just so everyone knows. Only things that are similar are the collar and sleeve end
i was saying i was interested in making it you already said it was claimed so
No I know that, I was just saying that since our items both look fairly similar, I dont want people thinking that we're stealing.
Since we're on the topic, what is the best way to handle vertex normals for Blender users, aside from giving the mesh to a 3Dmax or Maya user? Trials of those programs? Also, the glove should be on the fencing hand. Finally, that doesn't look like a foil. I like the general idea though, concepts just need refinement.
The glove should be on the fencing hand.
I know, I did it to avoid potential clipping with weapons. Thanks for the feedback though.

I think the stock/ejection part of the Combat Shotgun on his shotty, though, would be very nice. Give it a nice touch.
If robot made the circle thing just in the position of the weapon in the pic, it would look really neat, still looks good though :D
After seeing people fuck around with different positions of stuff on shotguns and whatnot for ages, I have to say, the way sexy did it is probably the best we'll get. Adding a stock to anywhere near the front is almost certain to clip. You have to remember the soldier also inserts shells, as well as pumping them out. Keeping added on bits toward the front is really the best solution, either that or in the case of the Frontier Justice and Rescue Ranger, having them to the top right, off to the side and out of the way, yet still in view. I understand it's nice to mess around with the mechanics and positioning of parts on shotguns, but I'm serious when I say this is one of the best shotgun interpretations I've seen. I honestly don't think the model needs ANY tweaking whatsoever.[sp]aside from optimizations and possibly lod's, but duh, obviously[/sp]
Does anyone happen to have the greyed out mannikin models for making backpack icons? I looked through the Shugo backpack icons thread as well as a few other places and i couldn't find it. I'd really like to use it for a scout jacket i'm finishing up
