So I hate to be 'that guy', but have any of you ever thought about re-doing the default pistol so that the slide and hammer are animated? It never fails to annoy me that valve over looked such a glaring issue.

Got some things that I gotta ask today, would really appreciate helpful responses. First, is there a less frustrating and more efficient way of selecting verts when making facial flexes for character mouths which have geometry going trough eachother? I'm having a really hard time trying to find the correct verts to move. And secondly: Any tips, easy ways or handy tools to reduce detail on a texture map to bring it down to its basecolours? Solutions for both would really benefit and improve the quality of my work.
