Retro spy phone concept [t]http://i.imgur.com/PNeOKb8.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/I3LV21z.gif[/t] BTW, does anyone know how to edit the cloak meter? I want the numbers pad to be the cloak meter...
Just one question, how does the speaker stay wired to the body?
Just one question, how does the speaker stay wired to the body?
The two metal holder. It's a microphone btw :V
;43723713']The two metal holder. It's a microphone btw :V
Thanks for correcting me, but how would the microphone send anything if it's not wired to anything?
;43723415']BTW, does anyone know how to edit the cloak meter? I want the numbers pad to be the cloak meter...
You might be able to control the placement of the cloak meter by moving the attachment points on the model that the meter uses to position itself. Either that or you will end up glitching it out horribly.
Me and NassimO are now starting to go into the texturing phase of the cameragun. I've also rigged it quickly to test out how it plays with the existing revolver animations, and I am pleased to say that it works nicely. (Sorry for pink and black, the UV layout has not been done yet.) I'm also working on a few props to go with some SFM things NassimO is working on. [t]http://puu.sh/6DJaT.PNG[/t] And lastly here is a textured version of one of those SFM props. [t]http://www.jepix.fr/images/1qscilh.png[/t]
[t]http://srv2.jpg.co.il/6/52ea69cd47882.png[/t] looking ok right? well, not when it's low-poly [t]http://srv1.jpg.co.il/5/52ea6aeba1e5f.png[/t] if anyone wants to remake this, be my guest.. the second picture is how it looks at 720 tris, and I tend to ruin models when I try to create lods so I sort of can't pass this point atm..
curious to see it closed because the metal joints look a bit long. Otherwise, it's a very well done design and I would love to see it in game.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/NPhqxWp.png[/t] I've tried it on v_pocket_watch. Worked fine. Expect for a bit of clipping on the index finger. This shouldn't be a problem though, because the dead ringer uses external animation that aren't listed in the c_spy_arm animations. So i'm going to edit those a bit....
;43723415']Retro spy phone concept [t]http://i.imgur.com/PNeOKb8.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/I3LV21z.gif[/t] BTW, does anyone know how to edit the cloak meter? I want the numbers pad to be the cloak meter...
You'll find that you can't attach your own meter and name it, so you'll have to replace one of the existing ones for testing, you'll find the cloak meter's texture in "materials\VGUI" which'll do the trick. And on your model, you make sure you have 2 bones on the corners of where you want your texture to start and end called OrientBase1 (being the top right) and OrientBase (bottom left). Annnnd hopefully that should work, and I hope that made sense.
Anyone know where I can get those grayish player models that are used for making backpack icons?
[t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/36/Kendo_target_areas.png[/t] Anyone is interest on making a kendo set for the Soldier/Demo ?
Anyone know where I can get those grayish player models that are used for making backpack icons?
I... just slap a grey texture on the classes temporarily for backpack icons. There's probably a better way though. But I swear this has been done already.
Well shit. I'll check it out later.
I tested it out with the Siberian Sophisticate and The Tuxxy just now and they both work on blue team. I think it might just be a problem with the Triad Trinket's version, but I can't speak for any of the others.
