[img_thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/39556064/trackjacket1.jpg[/img_thumb] this fell into my lap earlier today
I'm pretty sure the Triad Trinket already covers making the Spy look like a grease ball.
Slow progress,but still a progress: [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/98733953/Soldier_teddyboy_odelo_koncept_napredak1.jpg[/t] Hat isn't working at all,suggestions?

[editline]5th February 2014[/editline]
Oh by the way, the Metal Slug set is up now. an update on the weps me and ertz are doing, still WIP:
Well here is that Imgur album of unclaimed concepts: http://imgur.com/a/jufHK might re-draw that demo suit. Didn't hear anything yet from Neo about the Hot dog hero suit.
what do you mean? like, it doesn't fit?
My guess would be because of these: http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Top_hat and this: "Does the item introduce something unique and different compared to items already in the game?"
You know after looking at the Philateler, Gifting Mann, and Dueler how come no one resized them to look smaller and fit the character's heads.
also an update on the weps me and ertz are doing, still WIP:
That looks reaaaally noisy.
That looks reaaaally noisy.
I do really like it though -- it uses normal colors and is still distinct.
I do really like it though -- it uses normal colors and is still distinct.
And maybe some scratches on metal.
My guess would be because of these: http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Top_hat and this: "Does the item introduce something unique and different compared to items already in the game?"
There's like two top hats in the entire game that aren't some gimmicky shit like the one with a rocket going through it
You know after looking at the Philateler, Gifting Mann, and Dueler how come no one resized them to look smaller and fit the character's heads.
For all practical purposes those hats don't even exist
You know after looking at the Philateler, Gifting Mann, and Dueler how come no one resized them to look smaller and fit the character's heads.
because if you're going to give valve $10,000 to have a hat for a day valve is at least willing to make it really big and noticeable for you
For all practical purposes those hats don't even exist
That makes sense, I bet people who have got it would prefer other hats in-game to those 3.
I'd appreciate some help. Is the tf2_misc_dir.vpk the right one to decompile if i want rigged playermodels, and if so which model is the rigged one?
?
Hey guys, brand new to Facepunch! Anyway I had a couple ideas floating around. The Environmental Enthusiast: A recycling bin replacing Pyro's gas tank. Scout meteorite necklace: is what it sounds like. Based off the asteroid belt named Bonk, which actually exists. http://www.kentauren.info/menu/index1.htm?page=/cgi-bin/astorb2txt.pl%3FSuchname%3DBonk I will post more as I think of them!

I can't view that anyways since i'm too lazy to update java, but if you want to pitch an idea, you should really draw it over the playermodel to pull some weight. welcome to the forum, i guess.
?
Nope, that's for miscs/hats. You want to decompile the mdl files that are in tf>models>players. They'll be named Scout.mdl, Demoman.mdl, etc.
Hey guys, brand new to Facepunch! Anyway I had a couple ideas floating around. A name and short description doesn't give the modeler much to go off. Punch just posted some of his, you should take a look at them: http://imgur.com/a/jufHK

FiveEyes asked via pm to work on the Scissor Blade mod, so I've sent him the files.
He didn't said anything about being credited though?
I didnt say he did, i'm just saying if he were to expect it, he should give more personal effort. nothing wrong with pitching the idea like that, just makes it less likely to get results
I'm not Punch.
Damn, did exactly the same Abe concept a while back. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32419971/Claimed/Toastador/HonestAbe.png[/t] On an unrelated note, I just found this. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32419971/Claimed/Toastador/UncleSam.png[/t]
Look an Uncle Sam hat that can't be changed into some Dr. Seuss reference. Also why didn't you post the Abe Lincoln set earlier? I would've never made those If I saw yours.

What program would you recommend for drawing? Then again, his ideas are leagues better than mine, but hey. Worth a shot. If not credited, I can live with that, as long as I have one of the items I make in-game.
I'm not Punch.
Wow, I need more sleep. My mistake.
Thanks, man. Brand new to this. What program would you recommend for drawing?
Whatever works for you. Most people use Photoshop, Gimp is a free alternative.
Also you need a drawing tablet or be very good drawing with a mouse, or you can draw on paper then scan it or take a picture of it then post it.
[T]http://i.imgur.com/tU8KrX7.png[/T] Anyone got any ideas on how I can salvage the team coloration a bit better without making it look nonsensically-patterend, making it completely open or too much like Soldier? The binoculars are part of the shirt item.

Maybe unbutton it, like the Chronomancer?
