Also, adding onto what Ven said, don't leave so much blank space in between the unwraps. Try to fill them as much as possible.
Leave a bit of space between all of them so things don't start bleeding together in the mipmaps.
Add me, I can give it a try.
Thanks man! Added.
This guy "Just" added me to his friends list recently because he was impressed with the Scissor Blade mod I worked on with FiveEyes. He wanted to commission me to make the bow from Shadow of the Collossus.
I decided to charge him 55 USD and he backed out. The guy wanted to give me 5 keys for it; that's about 13 USD. I'm not going to take virtual items for something that I should be getting paid to do for a living.
How much would you guys charge for a commission, anyway? I estimate for a mod it should be about $40-$60, but for a full workshop item it should be about $80-100 up.

I just domt do stuff for comission, kills allvmy motivation when I work on stuffI dont enjoy
I think I wouldn't mind doing 3D models on commission, actually. After all it's the field I want to go into.

depends on the complexity of the object and if it will require textures and such most charge about 35 for paints and 40 for models, but also since you are so intend on doing a commission i'll leave this little bombshell, because your client is paying you to do a job you are essentially been brought out of a percentage of that item or any other source of income that may be derived from that object..

this. i always decline.
The item in question was this bow:

And I actually think it's fun modeling stuff. I would have gladly done this if the guy had just coughed up the cash.

thats a very low poly model, what year was this game made? looks like the bow string has more polygons than the actual base.

I'm with Venezuelan on this one, those ridges on the front plates don't look very nice at all. I personally think those would look better flat.
I'm not aware of anyone here who does "commissions"
I also highly doubt anyone will pay you that amount for a tf2 mod
thats a very low poly model, what year was this game made? looks like the bow string has more polygons than the actual base.
It's from the PS2 game "Shadow of the Colossus". I was going to make a brand new higher-poly and higher-res version of it, TF2 style.

That download doesn't seem to work for me now, and it never did since it's release. Neither Firefox or IE can get connection to it for some reason.
Anyone else have this issue/any ideas?

If someone asked for $55 just to make them a mod, I would back out too. Why did you think he would pay that much? Giving you 5 keys would have been generous, a lot of people here make mods for fun and for free.

you sound like a self entitled jerk
the fact you "charged" him for it is disgusting anyways. i understand wanting some payment for it, but you need to get off your high horse if you think everything has to be business and you cant just consider "if i like the idea i could just make it for fun"

Wouldn't charge shit because it's something i enjoy doing and i know i'm not gonna live off that. Plus I wouldn't even make comissions.
I mean, man, how could a hat mod be worth $100

Disagreeing with the other people, but your pricing is way too broad for 3D modeling. You should have it scale based on difficulty and time required.

I mean we are talking about a form of art here people. His prices are not uncommon for high end products.
