Oktoberfest set, was debating possibly designing a medigun to go with the backpack.
Use a beer tap handle as either the "sights" or the lever for the medigun. With sleeve down and rolled up styles and tucked in style for the shirt as well. (Not that Valve would ever add the latter, but one can hope!) It's unwrapped and just needs texturing and rigging, I've also got something else really neat to show, but not sure if I want to reveal it yet ;)
You really know how to collect those boxes ratings, don't you? ;) The drawing is pretty nice but concept art is usually made to visualize an idea BEFORE the artist starts modeling and not afterwards. You can't expect anyone to give you a share on this because it wasn't your idea or concept. You just made a drawing of something that already exists.
He did pm me about it, and I did allow him to make up some concept art because I did not make some in the first place, and it would've been interesting to have another person's perspective on it (which looks great, in my opinion). I didn't know how to approach it in terms of the smaller details of the model- just the basic body and feature- and since I'm passing it over to someone else, it would've been nice for them to have some art to continue off (and I've gotten frustrated over my own attempts at it). Other stuff such as fairly claiming ideas and whatnot I can debate with Dark one himself. Otherwise you might as well swarm me with boxes for not having done it in the first place. :suicide:

So, I'm trying to make some team-colored weapons, but sometimes, when the character dies and drop the weapon, the model ends mid-sunken into the ground. Is there any way to fix this?
What's your collision mesh look like?
Well that explains why looks messed up. EDIT: I used Crowbar btw [thumb]http://www.ezimba.com/work/140314C/ezimba11984280694900.png[/thumb]

RIP [t]http://puu.sh/7tYW0.jpg[/t] also yours is really really nice looking
RIP [t]http://puu.sh/7tYW0.jpg[/t] also yours is really really nice looking
Thanks man, I actually had no idea someone was going to make a vest thing with sleeves, goes to show how little I check the Emporium these day. Don't stop on an account of me, a bit of friendly competition and rivalry isn't a bad thing.

I've just thought that, since you guys are doing those fancy vests, can someone make a third one, or maybe a style, idk like Wilson's vest? I mean, you guys are half-way there if any of you want to pick my suggestion. The main differences I see are the lack of a tie and the shorter sleeves, that would use logged lab coat colors. Actually, I'm starting to think these have some distinct differences. I think I'll do a concept latter, along with concepts of Mellowbloom's librarian Heavy set with my items ideas.

EDIT: I used Crowbar btw [thumb]http://www.ezimba.com/work/140314C/ezimba11984280694900.png[/thumb]
That sorta looks like you just put neon red in a layer in photoshop and added a layer effect I'd recommend doing the strokes on it yourself, and avoiding doing it on dark gray / black metal. If you are insisting on making as much of it team-colored as possible, then usually when working with metal, it's a good idea to try and make it a sort of industrial, slightly muted grayish-blue for blue, with a nice, almost polished look to it, while making red a sort of rustic brown, maybe with some pale gray scratches on either team. You usually won't find metal that color in TF2, and at the moment it doesn't even really look like metal. It kinda looks a bit plastic-y. Also, really try to avoid brighter colors like that unless they don't have a specific hue. Bright and pale are two different things, and "bright" things usually aren't found on non-objective props. I'd recommend looking at some weapons with pre-existing team coloring on the metal. Maybe the medi-gun or backburner.

Well the original, and even when I spoke to Robin in person, he said he loved it, but he was torn because it was a full Spy replacement and required a lot of work, but now I've finally come up with a solution that makes it all possible. I'll probably be doing the water logged coat for the sleeves as I don't want to lose too much of the team colouring by default, but with paints, you'll be able to get the original brightness that we've grown to like. But otherwise, I probably won't change the item, mesh-wise from now.
Did anyone do a Microsoft Sam voice mod for all characters before? I want to do one for shits and giggles, but Win7 doesn't have the voice preset and theres no separate software for it.
Do that for Sentry.
How do you add killstreak sheens to custom weapons? I recently found a nice Kritzkrieg mod but it doesn't show the killstreak sheen
VMT proxies.
VMT proxies.
I know it had something to do with editing the VMT, but how exactly?

We have a Medic Minigun and a Sniper Ambassador. We need a Spy Flamethrower now.
Does anyone want to help with a V2 of this for summer? http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=155083843 pyro shorts
Just gonna throw this out there, Gibbly and Spark are working on something similar, so there are no accusations of stealing. (Even though no one owns the rights to swimshorts)

But you should really think about ditching whatever program you are using though (ms paint?). The thick bold black lines look kinda bad and squish everything together making most things look cluttered. I know my concepts are not good looking whatsoever but I think this should help. Here are some free drawing software you can try: http://mypaint.intilinux.com/ http://www.gimp.org/ http://www.serif.com/free-graphic-design-software/?MC=FSSDRAWPLUS There are more out there but these are just some that came to mind, good luck!

does anyone have any other suggestions for this to maybe make it look more interesting? Model or texture wise?
Little update, just made (rough) colour versions of Dark Ones concept art (with his permission, to be safe) , as well as a probably temporary medigun name (just going to link): Red : http://i1365.photobucket.com/albums/r759/Samurai_Cowboy/red_medigun_darkone_zps2b6bdc44.jpg?t=1394773370 Blu : http://i1365.photobucket.com/albums/r759/Samurai_Cowboy/blue_medigun_darkone_zps8a058856.jpg?t=1394773357 Again, if anyone is interested in working on the model, leave me a pm.
Any suggestions on how best to show that the cans are attached the to helmet? Should I just go with something similar to how the bonk helm is done? Yes it is based on what we see in the WAR comic.
Anyone know how to add loop cues to .wav sounds? I'm using a free version of WavePad Sound Editor, and iunno how I'd go about making sounds loop
