Done fore the day, normal mapped the scales and increaded the contrast on the specular a lot. Looks good now if you ask me
crotch flap still looks flat, arms are an improvement.
Was there no possiblity of modelling it? Like in big strips as the hat hes wearing?

Could you show the reference that you were using?
From what I know samurai's did not used such metal scales on their armours. That scale type is more typical for medieval Europe.

How is the intelligence rigged to the model?
And is there an easy way to test how a model looks with it?
So for some reason I have the error when viewing models in the half life model viewer

It happened after I somehow managed to get the medigun model with the medic's model with the medigun in his hand
The error is fixed if I lower the LOD
I have rigged scout's underwear to the best of my ability but there is still some clipping and any changes I make seem to make it worse at this point. If anyone with more experience could give it some finishing touches and tweak it to be perfect that would be great. I guess what I'm asking is, anyone interested in ironing out and cleaning up my underwear?

It's an attachment, load the briefcase model in HLMV as a weapon.

Honestly, I would like to see higher quality textures for the quickfix backpack, the sentries (and minisentries), teleporter, 9 classes, ubercharge textures, and maybe more of the decorative props and decals

Strange enough the item is a good few months old.
It just didn't get properly rigged until recently.

I know i'm a page late, but if it was up to me, i'd have the very lowest part of the trousers burnt just above or around the boots. That way you keep the colour scheme of the pyro intact, make the item more visually interesting, and somewhat preserve the shape of the lower legs a little more.

well the pants could just have a gradient, doesnt need to be burnt to get darker :P

How could i use the bonk can as a base for a weapon i want to model?
I load the decompiled model into blender, but i can't give it a new UV Wrap. When i deselect the model, the uv dissapears, i don't know how to load the model without all the extra info valve put into it.
Woah woah woah, why is my item so effing shiny in the importer? screen soon.

Well i just imagined them textured like these [URL="http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Tartantaloons"]things[/URL], and thought to get the color silhouette down you could have the bottoms burnt as if the pyro had strolled through burning brush without noticing. Just a dumb half awake idea, i'm just having a stab in the dark

You put it as an attachment to the bip_spine_2 bone. This is an example from my Spy QC

Just mess around with it in HLMV until it looks right. As for loading the intel briefcase, it's under models/flag but you'd have to extract the model and textures from the VPK into the directory.
