Paint. Now, time to do the promo pics.
The black coloring of the knob makes it seem really out of place. The grey that it was before seemed a lot more fitting. Also a product name on the front corner would look really spiffy.
guess this solves the issue of the rest of the classes not having bird heads.
bird is the word!, nice work though. Really like that.
Strange enough the item is a good few months old. It just didn't get properly rigged until recently.
Oh really? Funny enough I actually came here to say that that item looks very similar to concept art I posted and was working on, but in that case there isn't much way you could have copied it. Not like I think you would have anyway.
added a little bow to the band, raised the brim higher, and made the forward hole go inward instead of outward. does anyone have any suggestions at all before i start lods and stuff?

I still have this from last year. Is any texturer interested? This is in fact the low poly version, I'll search for the final version

Is there anything you can do to fix these horrible seams you get when baking (other than painting over it to make it look right)?
Made the trim on this yellow and now it looks better
What do you think guys is it ready for texturing, or I should change something in model if yes don't be shy and tell me.

Not trying to say make this one have one too, but maybe add something that would be sharp on the shield?
Rebar ? For example ? Rail road spike like from pain trian?
A screw? More robot-y.
What do you think guys is it ready for texturing, or I should change something in model if yes don't be shy and tell me.
The outer ring is kinda low poly.
A screw? More robot-y.
It is big heavy duty screw, how it can be more roboty? That ring is very bent, so this it seams like that I can smooth it a bit.
thanks snipa for the paintovers :P trying to decide on a color scheme for my soldier parka
Hey, sorry I didn't give you some better concepts for colors on the model you had when you needed them the most, I was just afraid that if I was to do anything fancy it'd make the suit either look too noisy, or clash with the original colors that the Soldier must maintain to keep a proper color silhouette. These concepts Snipa came up with are nice, but I'm really liking the colors under the Zing icon the best so far, it has that dark color which really brings out the tunic's red, and I'm liking how the tan looks as the inner lining and undercoat. Maybe the hat I gave you can match that same dark brown and tan color scheme? Message me when you're online if you need more help or just want to show me how things are going.
Wee. At least it is paintable. Think I will go with a gold. If I finish it. At all. Also, 700 tris exactly. I think I may make this a habit.
It is big heavy duty screw, how it can be more roboty? That ring is very bent, so this it seams like that I can smooth it a bit.
Maybe you can break it, or use a drill with some other stuff attached to it.
More things in ribbons [sp]i think i have a ribbon fetish now[/sp]. It's one of those wrapped up chocolate reindeers if you can't tell (it's not that obvious without any detail). [t]http://i.imgur.com/b5tETxf.png[/t] Paintable, not chosen any base colours. Looking for someone to do the details on it, because when I tried this happened. [t]http://www.chocolatetradingco.com/pictures/products/2/0/9/.2098/~iDbcQmcp/lindt-christmas-chocolate-reindeer-bell.png[/t] Edit: Also need someone to make backpack icons for this item (when it's done), and this (seperate or together, WS credit obviously inc.).
You're gonna have to re-triangulate that. Are would working with n-gons?
You're gonna have to re-triangulate that. Are would working with n-gons?
I don't know would working with n-gons. I'm using 4-vertices faces, not sure why it's doing that either, considering it's flat along the top faces. I'd also considered leaving it as-was, considering it's wrapped up chocolate, and the insides generally aren't flat. But would people know that?
It is big heavy duty screw, how it can be more roboty? It's an octagon shaped rod. And I mean a screw is more robot-y than a rail road spike.
