wait wait wait. The pistol slider works on sfm? I had no idea. what about the others pistols, and can be done to make it work in normal tf2?
As far as I know there is no bone for the pistol slider, so you can't animate them without a bunch of work. This is propably a modified version he is using in SFM
Please, show us with Foster's Facade mask.
DER WE GO
Make the fabric of the hood quite a bit thicker Also please do the sleeves like they are on the concept, rolled up doesn't look as good
Make the fabric of the hood quite a bit thicker Also please do the sleeves like they are on the concept, rolled up doesn't look as good
Cheers, will do. Also I realized with fosters it looks like that one Star Wars dude. You know the one. EDIT: Taking a look at the sleeves now. What do you mean exactly? On the front view it appears more like one long sleeve, but on the side its slightly more cuff like.
Oh I thought they ran straight, my bad. I'd got with the one like the front view though
Oh I thought they ran straight, my bad. I'd got with the one like the front view though
Yeah, I kind of like the wizard sleeve look too. And not just because thats a double entendre.
internet is down. complete this to past the time, practice makes perfect.
Would it be dumb to ask how you posted this without internet?
DER WE GO
Get out of here stalker. Edit: AW C'MON! I was waiting for that moment!

its animations relies purely on jigglebones. most people have issues on how jigglebones are chopped off/screwed to "improve performance", killing the flying animation in the process and rendering half of the merit in that thing useless.
there's no way that animation is all jigglebone calculation
the flapping wings probably are. they are almost identical to Heinous' crow.
Bad idea #38 Unusual orbiting train of a train on a track circling the player head McVee Pls [editline]20th March 2014[/editline]
Put seams here. [t]http://puu.sh/7B0nP.png[/t] The unwrap, beautifully illustrated on the right, will be annoying to texture though. You'd have to line up the textures and lines across the seam, which is annoying as hell.
[t]http://puu.sh/7Capp.png[/t] wanted to thank you for the help. already feeling much more efficient now.
Sniper Japanese bowman armor: the belt accessories are a second misc.
After much deliberation, me and Square decided to remove the gasmask part of the pilot mask. It's now a hat you can use to pilot up your other gasmasks. This seems like a better solution for a bunch of reasons, including how silly it looked wearing a hat on top of a hat. The deleted part of the gasmask will end up being re-used for something at a later date.
Sniper Japanese bowman armor: the belt accessories are a second misc.
I like it, I would try to do it except for the fact that I must finish my classes first. Maybe I'll read up on how to make mods again for TF2 and try my hand again with making those Spy Legs.
the flapping wings probably are. they are almost identical to Heinous' crow.
i imagine if he bothered to add a custom anim for the body, he'd just animate the wings along with it, because that jigglebone shit was tedious, man.
Now if jigglebones weren't broken as hell, this would've been good.
Dude holy shit, that's awesome. I have no idea how you did that since I rarely ever see WoW machinima that mixes other non-Blizzard models in the same scene. I thought they made it fairly hard to extract those or something. I'd really like to see some other ones if you manage to get that one working. Would pets that walk on the ground be hard to do in TF2? I'm not really an experienced modeller, or animator.
Heres a simple concept that I've had in my head for a while. This is also my first concept I've drawn so feedback would be appreciated. Its supposed to be a pair of golf pants + shoes that have the same pattern style as the Gaelic Golf Bag. I can't draw shoes for shit, so I sorta gave up on them, but you get the idea. Just ignore the strange looking ankles. Its up for grabs.
[t]http://puu.sh/7CkKd.png[/t] Is there a way to bake ambient occlusion while ignoring overlapping polys? or is it something you just have to live with and manually fix? I'd like to get a basic gloss over but if anything touches the texture just drops to dark gray, and it shows when the arms move or stretch, so.

(Object mode>select model>M>Select target layer)
Move the object to a new layer, then bake. (Object mode>select model>M>Select target layer)
As long as the overlapping objects are separate, click the little camera icon in the outliner next to the overlapping object. This will disable the object in the renderer.
