Shame if we are just doing medieval apposed to the multiple themes so this would fit in the futuristic category along with Ayes' cool sentry. I'll put some more thought into it though...

Doesn't really explain anything, but from looking at it, it looks like the Larval Lid makes your team skins (including your weapons) become blue while you're on red?

I've got a fix on my side for it. I've been planning on releasing it soon, along with something else I've been working on.

Yeah, it loses the vintage feel by being unusually curvaceous. Might play around with the shape of the shield, making it more angular or something, maybe removing the red from the legs as well.
So all of a sudden today Blender started exporting empty SMDs for me. Didn't change any settings or anything and it does it for any model as well as other formats. Updating Blender and the SMD tools didn't change anything. Haven't been able to find any solutions, you guys know anything?

The helmet colour is the red soldier's, I think.
Oh, I'm redoing my scout pouches/utility belt thing btw. Going to have bigger pouches this time round, but with only three on the chest to make space for them. And I'm going to ditch the buckle because it was basically unseeable anyway. Will need a texturer when it's done.

Someone was talking about the same problem a few pages back and it got solved, you could probs find the answer to your paint problem there

try making the paintable areas black in diffuse and its ao in alpha.
then both blendtintbybasealpha 1 and blendtintcoloroverbase 1
... i mean, if you want to, because you already uploaded it and everything... there's always your next project...

I think your paintability looks a little odd currently, perhaps try having a darker shade and a lighter shade, rather than the odd colour you have at the moment.

just one question because i haven't got someone to do this before for me, if you were too.. am i suppose to send you the AO or the entire model? or send you the entire model with bake? because i don't' really want to share the model.. :tinfoil:
Stop being so thick. Nobody is going to steal your stuff, it's not even good enough to get stolen.
Either way, you're supposed to get him the compiled model and an AO for them to texture off

So, apparently I'm getting a ghost face, if you can call it like that, with this model I'm making:

There isn't really any good skins to replace the buildibles as most of them are blatant reskins that makes the buildings look like plastic or some idiot got a permanent marker and drew all over them.
However, there is a pack called Floral Defense ([URL="http://tf2.gamebanana.com/skins/109238"]http://tf2.gamebanana.com/skins/109238[/URL]). But it manages to fatally crash my game.
More or less of what I'm saying is that there isn't that much unique buildable packs that would replace the buildings.
