First off, shout out to Badgerpig for the awesome ref pics and Gryn for advice. after being told the first version of the arms i drew wouldnt work by everyone on mumble, this seemed to work best with what i used for inspiration (and tubing by itself looked stupid so i added gauntlets and shit.):

you can do that without naming them "sand people" in the canon. it becomes way too transparent.

As a small update: My schedule is crazy for the next few months, so this may take a while. I'll try to make it look nicer in the meanwhile, but it'll be slow.

I'd rather work on something with someone who doesn't have tons of projects to do alongside it. That way it feels like they aren't putting as much effort into it, more like they're just spewing out every item one by one.
