All this talk of space has inspired me to look back at this set that I should've finished, back in November:

But, looking at it now, I've realized it needs fixing up, or general revision of the designs. I've started out with the boots, but I don't want to go any further until I have some opinions on it:

On the left(Of the picture) is the new design, and on the right is the old. I want to know if I should continue working on the new design, or fix the old one up.
Agree for new, disagree for old.

Well, I'm back onto my medigun model, and-

Shit.
I've managed to give the model bones from the stock medigun (while weight painting the lever bone to make sure only the top handle can move, since it doesn't not have connecting 'things'), although obviously they are not 'in use' when loaded into the model viewer.
That's caused by missing $bonemerge commands.

On the real texture? No. On the one I uploaded here. Yes. I was only showing the base texture to show that the R isn't pixelated. Neither is the B for the Blu skin, yet it comes out like that.
Edit: Something might be wrong with my texture, as even when I use VTFEdit the letter comes out pixelated

Just added some bonemerge commands to the QC that should help. Thing is, I'm thinking that I'm not exporting the model without its bones for some reason. I'm still getting something like the image I've posted before, but when I checked for the bones I joined with the medigun, they were missing.

Hey Bang, I think a hint of fire from inside your medieval pyro helmet would be a really cool addition, you know like the pulsing glow of embers in a fireplace. At the moment it's feels like I can look inside the helmet and see no one is in there

Though it wasn't looking good from every angle, I would need to edit part of the model so the fire looks good from all angles, I'll see if I can do that tomorrow and make it a paintable.
Unfortunately can't have animated textures/materials with the ingame importer tool :(

The R becoming more pixelated is probably because its small in the UV. The textures have to be 512x512, remember.
