They do jiggle. For some reason whenever I tried recording the jigglebones would stop working correctly.

yeah, hlmv and recording software cause jiggles to stop working. you'll have to go in-game to record them.

Texture needs work. I've never made a glass texture before.
This better be paintable. Kool-Aid Pyros need to be a thing.
Sorry guys, got busy with university stuff, i'm planning on finishing the Captain Murphy set concept this week and probally some other ideas will come along too. I want to know on how do i make textures on Photoshop
This better be paintable. Kool-Aid Pyros need to be a thing.
And then we need to make a voice-mod that replaces all of the pyro's positive lines with a muffled "OH YEEEAAAAH"
Hey Hermit, are you planning to release those rocket models as props in gmod?
Me and a friend intend to do this eventually:

going to design some weapons too
alright ill see what i can do about the lines on the hair. anything else, like the bandana i need to work on? or its fine.
Edit: Alright, I figured it out, but does this look good to you guys?

A bit too detailed. Look at some of the hair models already in game, like the Greased Lightning. It uses simple lines to show detail.

I updated the model a little bit, added rough seams with looped knots, or whatever.
anyone give me a hand, maybe draw a mock-up of what it would look like with a bit of flame on top?
[del]On a side note, it's probably a long shot, but I'm having trouble getting gold on the Timesplitters Future Perfect challenge "The Dead, the Bad and the Silly". anyone got any tips?[/del] Nevermind i got it

Anyone want to have a go texturing this? Re-linking to a 3d, grey version : http://p3d.in/Bhaw5
show us what it looks like ingame, also another option is bake it and then just do plain colour like this example.. on another note might have that textured soon.

Still not liking the wire as the handle. It looks way too flimsy and not-handle-like.
Hello. I've just registered this website. A friend of mine suggested to me upload some skins that I've uploaded in another website. However, I don't have Photoshop to be able to edit the PSD, I do have Paint.Net and a PSD Reader plugin (but it seems it's not working properly). Does anyone have a file for PDN for Paint.net users?
I plan to upload some stuff I've made, including: Vaccinator Hud Helper (Together with a hud that I haven't finished, but really useful with the vaccinator hud helper), Bigger Decal Previews, Use more backgrounds, More Characters Portrait, Aqua Team Hunger Force, Smock Surgeon - BLU Team Fix, Five-Month Shadow Paint Fix, Waterlogged Coat Brotherhood of Arms - V2, and plenty of alternative paintable area (alpha mask).
I've those stuff already finished, I just need to update the Bigger Decal Previews, that I haven't updated when Stronbox update released. I'll also need the pdn file for the template, and then I can get into workin'.

another option to photoshop is a program called gimp, its pretty user friendly.

i'd avoid posting texture skins. they're generally quite bad and mostly not welcome around here.

Shit really/ I might have to change my design a bit, but regardless i will make this flaming peasants hood. PEASANTS QUEST MUST BE REVALIDATED
I mean, already my design is much more closed, rounded, and overall more peasant-y. his seems more thievish.
also mine will be on fire.

peasants, damn i was going to suggest you make some sort of skeleton head for the scout as part of the hood.

let's see what he has first, but for your defense, his next post better not be a bad banana...

His hood is definitely more angular, but I wanted to get a more realistic peasant hood shape going. the robe in the video was actually made by the brothers chaps' mother.

That actually brings me to a question on my own item. Everyone knows what it clearly references, yet at the same time, it doesn't really look like it.

I kinda doubt already that it would get in, but I wonder about the whole copyright thing.

What about this, though?
[t]http://i.imgur.com/xQDLvS5.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/Ml7ece0.jpg[/t]
if you guys do remember i actually talked about 10% and relation to making a copyright item yours..
i'll use a recent model as an example.
[t]http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120902144625/metalgear/images/8/88/Mgsgz_%285%29.jpg[/t]
[t]http://i.imgur.com/XvfEAHY.png[/t]
note that isn't final texture and a few minor details aren't included like speakers, half circle things and other small things..
now if you look at the two images, you'll major differences between the both like for example that the bottom image has many details that set it apart from the top image and this can be the same for many areas of art like taking a object and changing it colour to bright green or taking a photo or painting and removing or even adding in objects that weren't necessarily there to begin with.. like a tophat.
ironically, just making a model of someone elses models would cover as 10% because your model is different from there's and as a result would have many different details that original model wouldn't have..
10%? Of what? What are you trying to say?
those models are pretty identical btw
Then what really sets those three from being different to Vader's helmet posted a page back? It was called out on it, yet mine wasn't, and well, Team Captain is in.
10%? Of what? What are you trying to say?

to put it simply if you change something by 10% you own it because that item is something new of course that doesn't mean you own the original item copyright, it just means you've created something new from something existing and as a result you can claim that new item.
if you look at the general profile, then yes it looks the same.

If that is true, then how come some companies go after people who sell work based on their IP, even if it was designed by the person, and follows your "10%" rule? Where exactly is the grey line?
If that is true, then how come some companies go after people who sell work based on their IP, even if it was designed by the person, and follows your "10%" rule?
it isn't my rule, its actually law. how have you not heard of this? it was one of the first things i did while in university.
legal system is another matter entirely.
