Since everyone's just giving you basic remarks about it, I'll say that if you styled it a bit more to be an actual suit jacket or something of that type, I think it would set it apart from simply being a Soot Suit with some added bits and bobs. Maybe longer lapels (or an asymmetric design, giving it one large lapel that goes over the grenade belt), and some coat ends. It's the start of a good design, but it's just that, a start.

It looks like you could use a shit ton more of poly. weapons aren't limited to 1400 tris in Lod0.
Not only that, it feels very flat, as if there's no character to it. Give the parts a reason to exist where they are.
I also still don't understand how that lever would ever work.
Also it's really difficult to tell how your texture looks with the shitty default render settings, you should definitely compile that and show your previews in hlmv
You could try making the panels on the healing end curve slightly inward. That might make it look more interesting.

i happen to agree with you on that. in the past i've compared things to my max view ports and found that the model is fairly dark and lifeless but in hlmv everything changes but it doesn't always display everything..

I like the idea but like people have said it's very neutrally colored. Perhaps flip the colors, so what you have here as blue make gray, and what's gray make blue?
Also, personal opinion, but I prefer the one on the right, between the two.

i'll draw a parallel with the kralle and let you get ideas from it, since both follow the same core desing.
of course, by this i am not claiming "its already done" but rather encourage you to apply some of these elements into your own. remember that weapons, unlike cosmetics, are meant to have a degree of functionality and as such, you need to integrate elements that would imply that the weapon itself works because there are mechanisms under it that makes everything work.
Anyone knows how to pack large .vpk files? The .vpk packer valve supplied is a piece of shit and keeps crashing.
Pretty sure it does that because there's so much content to pack. Give it some time and it should work.

I adjusted the height slightly, so it's smaller. Also I aligned the middle part to fit better. It might not make too much difference though.

I'm getting the feeling that you don't get much help for things. Getting things to be paintable is super easy, just look it up.
