i really don't know how is that suposed to make sense as a functional piece of clothing.
for the distance, it looks as if the pyro had a massive neck coming out of the hoodie.
maybe add a turtleneck/scarf to cover the original suit's neck would look better on a darker tone to actually add contrast and define more where the item ends and where his body starts.

Im really doubtful if that would fit within the polylimit, especislly on lods since player bodies hardly change on those for the first few levels
Also Id make the gradient on the throusers to the more default like colour a bit stronger

You're right that "haus" means "house" but "hausen" has the meaning of "living" so it kind of translates to "living in a castle".
