All you need to do is decompile an existing weapon (one that is similar to what you are working on, ie decompiling the brass beast because you're making a minigun) so you have its bones. Then rig your model to those bones and compile. Really the only difference is the folder the model is in, since they are usually in the models/weapons/c_items folder.
