Yup, I had to erase the poofy parts from the concept to make them look better, but I guess that making the boots shorter and keeping the poofy parts would be ok. It's just that I don't really liked it, but I guess I can't do anything about it. The boots will be different then, but I'm afraid I can't change the concept for them at this point.

Had this little idea for a anti-gravity/space sapper thing.
Not that there will be accepted any sappers soon, but maybe just as a skin dunno.

wouldn't this make more sense to just repalce his default hand, and leave the gunslinger alone? i mean it would fix the inconstancy of engineer being able to glue his arm back on when un-equiping the gunslinger, as well as maintaining the color consistencies for the weapons.

Perfect. But I think what's making it stick out is indeed it's poking out too far. Most common thermoses aren't that tall.
So I'm getting closer to being done with the model of the railgun. But the pipes are bugging me a bit.

Keep it. Definitely keep it. It adds a nice bit of detail to the model and draws attention to it.
Whilst it might be 'unrealistic', remember TF2 is as a whole and the slight comedy in the fact that you wouldnt be able to see a thing if the Lens was constantly readjusting like that suits the theme of TF2.
For example, look at the Ghosts from Starcraft. Their lenses wobble and turn and fiddle around like a hundred times a minute. Nobody would be able to see a damn thing with those on. But it has become characteristic of the units "look".
