That's like the Borderlands 2 hyperion engineer, right?
I had an idea I would have drawn (except I'm not so good at cosmetic drawing) about different hydraulics exoskeleton stuff for certain classes, like the scout would have stuff on his legs for speed, heavy on arms for punching and carrying the gun, etc.

I've been sitting on this for a while. it's a full-body jumpsuit with stripes designed to merge this shirt and pants into one item.
inspired by the Timesplitters: Future Perfect Henchman.
agree if i should finish it
disagree if i should scrap it.
the model is about finished, aside from rigging issues and small things.

You should change the description to "You better watch your one small step, maggot."
Not that it matters.

Stargazer's Scrambler
Thanks, Stargazer's Scrambler sounds good in my ears.
I came up with this desc:
1:
!!WARNING!!
THIS ITEM WAS DISAPPROVED BY MANN CO. MONKEYNAUTICS
It was removed from all test programs but strangely disappeared after a visit from an unknown french investor to the Monkeynautics facility
2:
scrambles time, gravity and light into one big soup.
Any good?

I think the "Disapproved by Mann Co. Monkeynauts" seal should just be treated as a cool "hidden" easter egg, so I would go with the second one.
Found even more bugs with the HQ W models Zombie
1. The Backburner doesn't have its distinct head in the W view
2. The scattergun model included has no LODS
3. Only the blue team skin of the A. sniper rifle has no texture
4. The rocket jumper is not team colored
5. The C model shotgun has no LODs

1. Backburner uses the same method as festives so it's broken until I add the extra bones
2. I was remaking them with the new texture in mind but shit happened
3. I already know that and have no idea why since it's just a renamed red VMT
4. I couldn't find the updated PSD so I just gave it the blue texture incase you had a mod that added a blue texture to it
5. Shotgun uses both C and W
Alright thanks for all the help, it's up!

Have you made all the models needed for attaching it to sentries? Because I remember hearing that's a huge pain in the arse.

It always was a huge pain indeed, but the sapper models work different now that the c_models are used.
Doesn't take a rocket scientist to ̶w̶e̶a̶r̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶m̶ vote

When making a shirt misc, is there a good place to get reference class decals? meaning these
[t]http://th09.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/i/2012/058/0/7/tf2_classes_by_zudiro-d4r86cd.jpg[/t]
the ones on the shirt are a bit thicker but extracting them straight from the texture would be very odd looking i imagine

How closely does your mesh resemble the scout's mesh?

let me rephrase that

Modeled a James Brown inspired Demo set. Looking to see if anyone wants to texture the pants/shoes and texture the shirt.
Edit: Rigging of the shirt claimed by The Duke

Blender makes the hair color really dark, looks closer to his facial hair color in game.
Let me know if you think you can do a good job with it.
the back where the hair and the head meet looks really off, like it's just some blob of clay.

Is anyone here good with cloth and willing to lend me some advice?
I'm still mostly hard surface and i'm getting good practice with soft but what i'm doing right now runs rings around me. I'm going for a fold of a coat wrapped around the top a holster and no matter how i go at it it just turns into spagetti edges and i've been trying for about three days now with nothing even remotely nice coming out of it
